i was able to follow most everything on this rewatch, but still didnt understand the last ep. had to look up wtf they were talking about at the end, because i was completely lost. feel like i have a better understanding (apparently yui was playing dirty because she was about to convince yukino****a to remain friends through the bet, while she was going to confess to him?) i still dont get why yukino****a's sister was such a kunt when she said she was doing it for "her". i love yukino's fascination of cats, anytime one is brought up. i always lol

Puck seems to know about Subaru's curse or at least is aware of his relationship with Satella, when they fought against Elza Subaru called Puck by his name and asked for help and Puck didnt hestitate at all, on that timeline Subaru and Emilia didnt met so there was no way for him to know Puck's name, Puck also said he has telepaty-like powers so he probably has read subaru thoughts and know whats up, puck also knew Gluttony's identity and mentioned how satella was able to create like 2000 shadows or something like that.

Dunno if it is relevant but Subaru seems to be possesed when he was negotiating with Crusch back when he was on psycho mode, he had the same light beam effect on his eyes like when he was possesed by betelgeuse, maybe he has been possesed when he goes full potato.

I dont think Subaru is just an arch bishop, i think his role is greater than that, maybe his role is to keep Emilia safe so Satella can reincarnate on her and thats why Satella discarded Betelgeuse but keeps embracing Subaru.

On the similarities between Subaru and Betelgeuse, besides the psycho-like tendencies of laughing like a psycho and causing them self-harm both have an astronomy related name, Subaru is the name of a constellation and Betelgeuse is the name of a star, theres another character with a star name but he had too little screen time so we dont know if he is related to Satella somehow.

I personally enjoyed the director cut more than the original, mainly because 2 eps long eps felt better pace-wise and because i could focus more on the series because i already knew what happened, the series is probably the best Isekai out there, too bad some people disregard it as a waifu bait and as trash because the MC isn't the Shounen OP MC they are familiar with, as for the extra content, as for the extra content, das it mane i wasnt expecting that, now i understand the "Who is Rem?" meme, i dunno whats going to happen with Rem, if Subaru kills himself the save point is beyond her death, i think the reason the letter was blank was because Rem wrote it so by the time they entered Roswal's territory she was already gone, so i wonder if Subaru will try to go beyond that save point and mess up his current future where he confess to Emilia and they seem happy, or, if Rem is gone for good and Subaru will keep getting crazier. Too bad they postponed the new season because im probably going to forget most by that time lmao

I wonder if Satella summoned him too, and he failed to do what she wanted? Does Al have Return by Death too? What would happen if Al and Subaru fought each other? Would the world just keep resetting to their save points infinitely because the loser would always try again? Maybe Subaru is Satella's second attempt. For all we know, she could've tried this dozens or hundreds of times. Or maybe Al has a different task, and still has a part to play.

Oh and this is the first time I've ever seen a fantasy world that was literally a flat earth. I wonder if it's actually like that, or if they just don't know their world is round? Could be either way tbh.

this was the ep about the cultural trip and Tobe's confession for fujo grill, i think im a bit autistic and off as fuk but this is my take, at first i thought the grills were mad and sort of jelly because of Hachiman's fake confession, he also looked fake as fuk so it could make them doubt his feels in the future, but, after the talk at the roof i thought something, the reason everyone is mad is because Fujo grill had feelings for Hikki-brah? she is always trying to turn him in that yaoi time with chad-brah, she also mentioned she would have dated him on the roof, so they are mad because hikky brah put Fujo grill in a very chitty situation, if she were to accept Hikky's confession their group could break up so she was sort of forced to reject hikky brah?

But then he'll feel awkward around her and it'll affect the group dynamic, and they might not be able to stay friends. So she went to the service club and Hayato for help. Meanwhile, Tobe comes to the club for help because he wants help with asking her out.

So during the trip:

1) Tobe wants to ask Fujo out
2) Fujo doesn't want to date him OR reject him
3) Hayato is trying to delay the problem but doesn't know how to solve it
4) The service club has received requests from BOTH Fujo and Tobe, one to avoid the confession and one to help with it

Hikigaya solves all of this by asking Fujo out and getting rejected in front of Tobe. So she's able to communicate that she doesn't want to date anyone right now in front of Tobe, which means he gets his answer without being rejected. So now both of them can relax without anyone having to be embarrassed and their group dynamic remains unchanged.

Hikigaya causes 2 problems though:

1) He makes himself the one who gets rejected, and his friends don't like to see him solve problems in ways that keep hurting him
2) Yui, who likes him, has to watch him ask out another girl in a beautiful bamboo forest at night, which is where she wanted him to ask her out instead

Not really sure how much Fujo girl likes Hikigaya btw, seems like she was just saying she'd be open to it. She didn't seem surprised or upset when he wasn't interested.

imo this season was fine, it wasnt as good as season 1 and was a bit rushed towards the end but it was a nice scifi action anime, although one of the inspectors had an OP as fuk power that was kinda magical imo, i also liked how they made me like Mika's character when i hated her on season 2.

that was my first thougt but imo they were overreacting, so i thought there was somethine else, to be fair Chadiman resolved the issue pretty clean, Tobe didnt give that much of a fuk to Hiki's confession so there was really no harm, i mean, he could have handled it better with a fake letter or something like that but they had no time, i can see Yui and Yukino getting kinda jelly and maybe getting hurt by watching Hachiman make a fake confession so effortlessly but again i thought they overreacted, Hiky brah wasnt hurt at all, its not like when Hiky made the kids hate them when helping the loli, so i thought there was something more and if Fujo-grill indeed liked Chadiman then that would have been a very azzhole move on his part.

basically haruno hates hayato with a passion. she doesn't give 2 ****s about superficial people. this is why she cares about hikigaya a lot, and finds him interesting, because hikigaya is against the grain, and he understands people. she's like a super analyzer of human psychology. like on the same level of hikigaya's sensei shizuka. she can see through people and understand them easily. and hayato is full of ****. she's frustrated with people who can't get through with how they really feel. like her sister yukino. i think we'll see more of her in depth in season 3.

haruno's job is to put on some fake bull**** for her family, she's a major face of the family business, that's probably why she hates the whole idea of it.

episode 2, everyone is disgusted about how hachiman has very little regard for himself, everyone can see it except hachiman. they rely on him because he's incredibly smart and good with people, but they are frustrated with how hachiman always leans to the direction of self-sacrifice.

the main key point in that arc, the thing that yukino hated most, was that he had decided to disregard the thing they both hated most, especially hikigaya, that being superficiality, just to help others.

you can tell in the breakfast scene with komachi the next episode, how pissed hikigaya really was at himself. totally loses his cool.

Yeah that makes sense, and it's true that Hachiman didn't really get hurt this time. I think he's done it enough times that they're worried he'll get hurt really badly sooner or later. basically haruno hates hayato with a passion. she doesn't give 2 ****s about superficial people. this is why she cares about hikigaya a lot, and finds him interesting, because hikigaya is against the grain, and he understands people. she's like a super analyzer of human psychology. like on the same level of hikigaya's sensei shizuka. she can see through people and understand them easily. and hayato is full of ****. she's frustrated with people who can't get through with how they really feel. like her sister yukino. i think we'll see more of her in depth in season 3.

haruno's job is to put on some fake bull**** for her family, she's a major face of the family business, that's probably why she hates the whole idea of it.

episode 2, everyone is disgusted about how hachiman has very little regard for himself, everyone can see it except hachiman. they rely on him because he's incredibly smart and good with people, but they are frustrated with how hachiman always leans to the direction of self-sacrifice.

the main key point in that arc, the thing that yukino hated most, was that he had decided to disregard the thing they both hated most, especially hikigaya, that being superficiality, just to help others.

you can tell in the breakfast scene with komachi the next episode, how pissed hikigaya really was at himself. totally loses his cool.

a week until season 3...... survive...... i must survive lol

Started watching a few days ago. But in Japanese (with jp subs). WAs lucky enough to find Japanese subs for it (even they don't sync well so I ahve to fix each episode)
btw I fell off somewhere in season 2 so I was meaning to watch it again anyway.
