Visceral fat (the more dangerous kind) is packed around your organs. The kind you can pinch right under your skin is subcutaneous fat.
You can't choose where fat comes off so losing stomach fat is the same as losing fat from elsewhere. You need to eat in a caloric deficit (eat less than you need in order to maintain your weight.) There's a post called "Don't Look Past The Basics" at the top of the forum that helps you determine how much to eat.

"Rapid" weight gain in the abdominal area (or anywhere) is usually caused by water accumulation there. If you aren't intentionally overeating, suggest seeing a doctor for a health checkup. There are various ailments which have this as a symptom. These need to be ruled out.
Most people (and sadly their doctors too) cannot tell the difference between excess fat and excess water on their bodies. Anytime an unexpected or rapid change occurs (most likely water is pooling) it's time to see the doctor.

You can visit the doctor if you like, I did and I ended up on Statins and medication for Type 2 Diabetes !
Best thing to do is make a change to your life, do you want to carry on being like this ?
Read the forum stickies, go on a calorie deficit diet, hit the gym on a good program, with some cardio too.
You dont need any supplements, you just need to eat healthy wholesome foods, preferable home cooked. Calculate your calorie intake to lose weight, track and measure what you eat. Over time you will lose the weight and it will benefit you in the long run.
