How do I grow my damn calves? I do calf raises with full ROM. I play volleyball and wrestle. I do lots of compound lifts and I heard that they work your calves too to stabilize. I also do hamstring curls and make sure to squeeze my calves. Girls in my school have bigger calves than me and they don't even workout and aren't in a sport!!! Skinny girls! My friend just works shoulders and Bis all day and his calves are huge. He weighs the same as me too. Anything you guys reccomend to grow calves.

Bust em up
Full ROM is good, but more info needed. Genetics is real big for calf and trap development. For calves, ya gotta work the living crap out of them. Sorry, I'd guess under-trained versus over-trained. BUT... Are you doing both seated and standing/straight calf lifts? Seateds work the muscle underneath, soleus, which will give you width. Standing, the gastrocnemius, the more visible muscle. You need both. As for form/technique: no bouncing up from the bottom/extended position. One way to puff those babies up is to do a double stop- at least during concentric phase. To do, from extended position stop twice on the way up. Takes a bit of practice so you have 'room' get the third lift in. So press to around level, stop/hold a second, press to a bit short of full contraction, stop/hold a second, then push to peak contraction. Slow the eccentric phase down to keep tension high. Not sure if that makes sense to you, but it sure blows my calves up like balloons. I train calves more than twice a week due to them being so pesky to grow.
Growth is limited by the necessity which is present in the least amount. And naturally, the least favorable condition controls the growth rate.
