My son was in the hospital 3 days just because because of a high fever. It didn't seem like they did much. They just gave him an IV and monitored him. Each doctor (4x) that saw him for a few minutes wants $500 each.

I have an injury that I need surgery for and it's basically unheard of here in Aus, and you have have whole departments in hospitals over there that fix the issue with ease
