I don't remember why I negged you, I neg so many.

How lovely. It seems almost every mod says the exact same thing. Clearly there is an issue here that needs to be addressed. Has there ever been any discipline or repercussions on ANY mod ever in your mod forum? It seems those in charge have zero idea what is really going on. You are supposed to be mature and represent the bodybuilding.com brand appropriately, but instead you're all running around abusing your power at will and alienating potential customers from the website.

The "no bans" is pretty limiting when you can be banned for typing the word that starts with an S and is a synonym for poop

Plus if non mods could not go higher than 150k. Most of the trade members will stop posting. Quite a few of them seriously enter the misc because they feel untouchable.

Also im starting to feel like im slowing down with my interest in coming here. Probably wont leave but im getting less excited about miscing after work. I will say misc has gotten me thru some rough times especially during a rough year in college and my old job even tho i technically havent been here that long. Just a lot of repitition and some posters i looked forward to reading leaving/left

They aren't going to make any changes, why would they.

It's not gonna attract new members to the board, because they aren't aware of the rep system and it offers no real incentive for them to join the board.

Any changes to the rep system is just going to alienate established miscers who are already on the decline in participation.

So in the end fiddling with the rep system doesn't make any sense.

It's imperative we bring high reppers like that down to earth because they threaten the whole misc ecosystem. Would make more sense to just multiply everyones reps by 10%, it will only take a year or two for 150k replers to be back at near mod levels, reps dont mean what they used to

Yeah...I don't think any regulars cower in fear because they might lose 350 rep points.

Leave it be. Just double the mods reps lol. As a guy whos struggled to get to 5k, I don't mind high reppers. Some of them are power mongrels, but thats life.

Why? Because I'm telling the truth? It's literally useless. What's the real life benefit gained from reps? Where are the tangible benefits? There's none. All I'm saying is that it's useless, how does that equate to being imaginarily 'mad'?

Admit it, it makes good sense.

There are, literally, plenty of forums that don't even have a rep system or something like that in place and it does just fine without it. So why do we need it HERE? What is the case for it, exactly?
