Went to the new Nordstrom, can confirm that they have sample vials out for the fragrances. However, I only saw them on the second floor where there are only a few designer fragrances.

They do have TF, Armani Privee, Le Labo, Diptyque, Hermes, and now PARFUM DE MARLEY.

The Le Labo counter has a really nice rep who honestly isn't the most knowledgeable but he didn't mind me going through a ton of them. They have the city exclusives there until the end of the month. I don't think any of them are worth the asking price unless you are a collector.

The Vanilla was really underwhelming, total pass, glad I never got a decant. Cuir was nice to start but it is much to light in the drydown...which IMO is a problem with all of them. Will go back and try more later....didn't know they had so many.

They do have the TF leather atomizer I was talking about earlier in a brown/gold...very tempted.

Try Gaiac 10, one of my favorites. Im picking up cuir, poivre and possibly Musc 25. They are really not the best performing and quite expensive but i am a huge le labo fan. Did you just try the Vanilla and Cuir?

Yea if they fill it up with frag then its a lot more palatable. For PdM, try out the the new one Leyton. Others i like are derivative frags, Godolphin ( smells like Tuscan Lether), and Oajan (Amber Narguile/Naxos)

Got my 5ml of this over the weekend. I like it, I don't love it. It's a very unisex scent, with a very slight tendency towards male. I can picture women wearing this, but I wouldn't think anything if I smelled this on a male co-worker or something. It's very harsh right after spraying, smells a bit Oriental at first but about 15 minutes it settles down then the fruit & tobacco comes out to play.

Two hours after 3 sprays and the sillage is fantastic. I like the trail more than the scent in close proximity.

Probably not bottle worthy for me, but fun to sample.

Hadn't worn this in a while and every time I put it on I'm putting my arm up to my face all day smelling it. Honestly the best $14 I've ever spent.

Like I said, I'll stop at saks and try it, it's right down the block so maybe at lunch. Now that I think of it, been looking for an excuse to buy eau sauvage parfum so maybe this is the perfect time. Thing with me as far as frags go, I want something I can wear every day and not have to think about it, all while having some others to wear when the feeling strikes me. I.E. I'm wearing narciso Rodriguez on this grey rainy day.

Yeah I tried it with a sample vial from Sephora. I was able to wear it every day without it being too much, must be my skin but it didn't seem overly dense like it did on the card.
