Making the fight at 170 is the next best thing they can do if they want to make Conor/Lawler, even though it's strange since Conor doesn't even have the 155 belt.
But that's the only explanation for making this fight at 170, not because Nate is overweight and not in shape. Why risk Conor fighting at 170 for? This fight is in a week and Conor jumps from a 155 title fight to 170? Because Lawler at 200 is happening.

And even if that might be a reason, this still gives Conor plenty of room for an argument at a 170 title fight. Call it what you want, but you can bet UFC will shove Conor down our throats if he wins at 170 and Conor will damn well take advantage of it.
