love the Bulgarians and weighted pull ups
dunno why the hate on squats, done correctly there's nothing but benefit, but if they aren't your cup of tea keep doing your thing bby"There is no one right way, everyone is different"

Overrated-
1. flat bench. Not that it isn't a good upper body mass builder but every gym you walk into it seems the bench is the most popular place to be. Too many people spend too much time on it.
2. Curls. So much time wasted on curl. Chin-ups, rows, etc can get you bicep development.

It is so wrong calling deadlifts underrated.
Far and away one of the best mass building exercises. To the guy who said "it's an erector exercise with lower body sprinkled in."
Uhh how bout NO. They put a huge load on the glutes/hams/lower back, heavily work grip strength, and isometrically work the lats/traps.
Just because idiots perform them incorrectly and get hurt it does not mean they're overrated.

Bulgarian split squats, or as I call them Bulgarian lunges, are the best workout for a very under developed body part for most people. I have a l4 herniation and a fracture in my lower back so I cant do squats or deads and was recommended these by a T&F trainer at a top university in the country and they are the very best way to work out your glutes, without question. I also had underdeveloped glutes because of my back issues and natural build but with these I can very easily build thick solid tight glutes.
I highly recommend them to anyone who hasnt tried. It takes a little time to get used to it because you may not be flexible enough to do them very comfortably.Always rep back. PM me if I miss you

Another underrated workout, cables for good delt work. IMO your rotator cuff can move in such a wide range of motion that using machines for hitting the delts is dangerous. You can develop certain areas of the delt but ignore other ranges of motion. With cables you are forced to stabilize a lot more and you can easily change angles to help target a wider range of the delt. I've seen a ton of growth in my delts from using cables.

Will add that for anyone who is in agreement with the pec deck being overrated
my fav exercise for hitting the inner pec is the svend press lying flat with dbs. you can use either 1 or 2 dbs, but it's a killer. I usually superset it right after my big chest exercise"There is no one right way, everyone is different"
