So i recently got BANNED from Amazon.com for too many returns after returning a handful of books which i ended up not needing for classes i dropped early in the semester. I can't buy anything from there and i regret ever buying a kindle fire now, even though it has proved to be an O.K. tablet (now rendered somewhat worthless since i cant buy apps on it).
So heres the scoop: After the ban i quickly realized that its permanent and amazon will, in no way shape or form re-open my account. I have no desire to create a new one as that process is quite tedious. Luckily my prime runs out very soon. So i naturally began looking at alternatives.
And i was a bit surprised... Amazon had treated me so well over the years that i never realized what other options there were. In fact, most sites offer free shipping for purchases over $35 which means prime isn't necessary unless you care about 2 two good series they show in the video streaming department. So now i can save roughly 8.50 a month by not using prime. Not too big a deal right?
Wrong. I just scratched the surface there.. In fact, there are prices available for FAR lower than what amazon prices its products- excluding a few big name electronic items, which match EBAY prices for the most part. Decided to randomly search my mouse
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Logitech-G50...kAAOSwxN5WXk4q $62 shipping included (highly rated seller)
http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Prote...&keywords=g502 $65 shipping included with prime only
Tried searching my (expensive) mechanical keyboard, wasn't even on amazon.
But what about other stuff?
A lot of people have allergy's right? In fact i know a lot of people who use nasal sprays. Lets take nasacort as an example
Amazon=35.50 free shipping with prime only
Jet.com=31.00 free shipping if you add 4 dollars to the order
And finally, a lot of people buy a sound system at some point, used mine as an example
Energy floor standing speakers
Amazon $309 (not tax exempt)shipping free with prime only
Newegg $300 (tax exempt) Free shipping
So you're losing 8.50 a month, with the chance to get banned if you decide to return some stuff, AND you're actually paying MORE for EVERYTHING! Keep in mind these other website have additional incentives to shop there, making the savings even more pronounced.
Anyways, thats all, just wanted to make this and SCREW amazon.com for the ban.
CLIFFS FOR ADD PPL
-Amazon banned me
-looked at other options
-found out amazon has highest prices despite prime
-everyone offers free shipping now

i used a ps4 for 2 weeks and redeemed all the vouchers in the bundle, returned the system for a full refund
they've also accidentally credited me for a refund on a product i canceled the refund on, and when i told them they said don't worry about it, it was their faultYou don't need a reason to help people.
RIP Zyzz & Greg Plitt, my two biggest inspirations.

Free Two Day shipping for life *******. So 8.50 a month for something that would usually cost me way more. I still check other sites anyway and for most stuff its not even close.
Plus the two day shipping is boss, and now free hour shipping with Amazon Now. Its over son.*Updated* If you can't hit a 320 yard drive, are you even a man?

I just put a bunch of examples in my post of things which amazon lost the price war. all of which i didn't even nitpick, just looked around at what i had and compared.
Amazon not only loses the price war, but requires you pay them 100 bucks for the free shipping while others have it already built-in.
Youre right, it is over

I return maybe 15-20% of the stuff I buy (I buy a lot of clothes) from Amazon and I've never had issues.
you must have been returning items at a ridiculous rate, and or the items you returned were things that usually have extremely low return rates. like a book. sounds like you earned it.
annoying customers like you are not wanted. maybe you can send them an email and beg for your account back.

Hello OP.
amazon does not have the lowest prices. but they do have the lowest prices with the most security. I always feel confident purchasing from amazon, as opposed to purchasing from some other website where im not sure they'll even give me a refund.Attract toxic girls but I'm not toxic crew
