okay i get that rogue fitness is really the king of the hill right now, churning out pretty well made gear and backing it up with great marketing and customer service.
but now they're turning out stuff like this:
http://www.roguefitness.com/rogue-knurled-ring
knurled stainless steel rings?! i mean, if they seemed to have any competition at their level i'd ask if they were in the process of jumping the shark.

i'd love to know how their sales are on this item. it's page is selling the box as much as it's selling the ring.
the blank rings i'm sure they buy for pennies, maybe they've got spare metal that they're using to make the boxes or something?
honestly it'd be better if they were making them from the same steel they're using for the bars; but $75 is an amazingly bold asking price.Domicron's Basement Gym and Fun House

i know what it reminds me of now: Oakley. they started off making sunglasses and goggles, and then started selling all sorts of shoes and bags and clothes. and for whatever they sell they have an add that reads similarly: painstakingly made, expertly designed, super high quality materials, 5x the cost

I'm really eye'ing that $800 desk - http://www.roguesupplyco.com/
TBH, the rings are a good idea. I know at least a dozen people who have met their significant others at the gym... and i'm sure it would be a cute gift and they will sell thousands of them. gotta know your target audience! CF's generally have more money too. $100+/mo memberships

never heard about "rogue supply co" but yea now it makes perfect sense...
and i have no problem with them trying to make a buck through other avenues, esp when their brand is so hot, but this is craziness. i'm far more disappointed to anyone who's buying this stuff...
not a ring for each finger?Domicron's Basement Gym and Fun House

As much as even I have turned around & find Rogue to be a good company, they are, at heart still a Crossfit shill.....
They are marketing to these people...
So where's the litter box for $2700 w/ knurling for optimal kipping poops?

Want to know how cheap they really are. My jeweler threw my tungsten carbide band in when I bought my wife's engagement ring. When I developed a rash from the ring(I told my wife I was allergic to our marriage on our honeymoon - and they say romance is dead) they gave me a titanium replacement for free.

Hey now, don't mess with my Oakley. They had a limited edition Macallan flask a while back ($1,000), good Lord I wish I could have got my hands on that thing. It was total badass! I have had a pair of Oakley Splice for over 12 years and going strong, and had some of the limited edition 3D glasses which also rocked.

When I first saw the thread tittle, I expected it to be about the B&R 2.0 being listed as a Hot Deal....at full price. I don't really get it. They had it up as a deal for $250, then took it down, now it's back at the full $295 on the hot deal page. I get that they are pushing a new product, but either discount it or just leave a pic of it on the homepage announcing its release.
