My favorite fitness endeavor this summer was taking part in one of the conditioning workouts at the high school I coach at. I coach football, and we were having the kids do their conditioning test which was three 300 yard shuttles with two minutes rest. I hopped in and did it with them in the heat to make sure that my linebackers were motivated and that they all passed (which they did).
I haven't done sprints since I stopped playing three years ago, so needless to say the next day I was sore as hell! It was definitely worth it though, always good to show your players you won't ask them to do anything you wouldn't or can't do yourselfiForce Blueberry Muffin: forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=169778043

My summer fitness experience included a lot of time in the gym and doing other fun activities like swimming, basketball, and running! I got shredded out and was looking great on the beach! Now it's time to add some more muscle! I want to try this titanium whey!

i live in a part of California where temps regularly are 100+ degrees throughout the summer. its so nice to get up into the mountains and do some biking among the tall trees. its usually at least 20 degrees cooler and the air is free of pollution....its an awesome way to spend the day and a great break from the usual gym training.
love me some Banana Coconut goodness.....MMMMMM!

Am I seeing things? Banana Coconut? I am in for this!
Spent part of the summer up in Idaho scouting for property. That 16 days was filled with a lot of time on the lakes, the mountain paths, the gym, and that was just me. The fam had their time for high energy fun as well.
OH yeah, we looked at property, too.Escaped fm the Peoples Republic of California. Be on the lookout.

This flavor sounds amazing. One of my all time favorite ice creams is banana coconut.
One of my favorite things about summer is going to the lake with friends and family. I'm really not ready for it to be over or for fall to start. I love spending the day on the boat, taking my 1 1/2 year old daughter for a swim and cooking and sharing stories and laughs over a campfire at night.
Its also a great time for training. Nothing like going for a morning swim or trail run up a mountain or around the lake to get your day going.

One of the coolest things I did over the summer was started my own home gym.
Now when most people think home gym they think of a pull up bar and some dumbbells, but this is the real deal!
I scavenged Craigslist, bought, sold, fixed up, and now have a SWEET HOME GYM for $420 invested.
I have two power racks, Two bench presses, Three Olympic Bars, two EZ curl Bars, A pair of bumper plate, and about 700 pounds in olympic plates! It is out in my barn and AMAZING! Truly a dream come true!
That was an amazing thing to look back on over the summer.
Overall, I invested about $1000 dollars and fixed stuff up then re-sold, traded, etc. to have everything listed above with only $420 invested!Hyper-Gro Log Thread - http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=166103841

This sounds amazing, truly a new flavor that I've never tried!
Hmmmm my best fitness story over the summer...going on a 12mi hike and then camping at the top to wait for the sunrise in the morning. So beautiful and so worth it. I went on 10+ hikes this summer. I decided over the summer that hiking is fun! LOL. Growing up is fun!Gym Lifts / Competition Lifts (Raw, kg)

one of my longstanding fitness endeavors has been to get my family to eat healthier and cleaner. my kids have always had a strong aversion to any kind of vegetable and its like pulling teeth to get them to eat them.
well, this summer i discovered the secret.....BBQ them! my kids will eat just about anything if its BBQed and veggies are no different. while they still dont rank up there with burgers or chicken at least they will eat them without complaint. its was so enjoyable not having to constantly remind them to..."eat your veggies"
now, what am i going to do during the cold winter months when the grill is put away???

Love the direction of Titanium Whey with the inclusion of fruit flavors. Titanium Whey line is really expanding -- something for everyone.
After having tried the original flavors, I can say SAN knows what's up with how to flavor protein, these new ones should be just as big of a hit.NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Nutritionist
