V-6 4.0 Frontier would be worth a look. Same platform/drive train as Xterra. Will have had my X for 10 years in Oct.
10 good years. No plans to sell it.

Probably had 1 in the chamber 12 in the mag for his first mag. I'm guessing a G21. He also used 2 additional mags. Should've been 35 shots fired(3 mags at 13 each, minus 4 remaining rounds). Excellent shooting on his part.
"Seeing the Glock in lockback, he fed in a third
magazine."
They had another incident(wish I could remember where) similar number of hits, skipped rounds under the car, but the officer was responding to a DV call and the guy armed himself with a shotgun. Wound up shooting the officer in the head(bird shot) officer fought on and killed him.

Been liking the Tacomas a lot myself. I'm probably not going to get anything different for at least a year, maybe two, but the Tacos are on the list. Around here, even the used ones are obscenely overpriced, though.

didnt see this posted.
http://www.foxnews.com/us/2015/07/27...ncealed-carry/
A 62-year-old man with a gun in each hand fired at four people – including a 1-year-old boy – before a civilian with a concealed carry permit returned fire and wounded the shooter, cops told FOX19.
Thomas McCary is being held without bond on four counts of felonious assault.
McCary was arguing with a woman around 8 p.m. Sunday night and, when the woman’s brother, Patrick Ewing, approached, McCary pulled out a .38-caliber handgun and fired three shots at him, Cincinnati police said.
Ewing didn’t get hit, but he did get his own gun and returned fire, wounding McCary in the leg. Ewing had a permit to carry a concealed weapon.
Injured, McCary went into his house to get a second gun and, holding a weapon in each hand, he fired three shots in the direction of the woman, Jeaneta Walker, her 1-year-old son and a third man.
Ewing fired at McCary again to try to distract him as the victims fled indoors. McCary squeezed off a few more rounds, hitting no one, before withdrawing into his apartment, Cincinnati.com reported.
McCary was taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where he was arrested at 2:30 a.m. He was treated, released and booked into the Hamilton County Jail by 3:42 a.m. McCary is scheduled to face a judge Monday morning.

Neighbor has a Taco . . . pretty nice. Durable, plenty of power. Big, though--and he says the MPGs kill him. I borrowed it once to move a big fridge and it was a nice ride.
Xterra crew. Love that thing.
Started looking around for a 3rd car that my son can learn on and drive when he gets his permit next month. The Xterra and Explorer are a little big for a new driver. We're looking at getting him something like a used Escape, CR-V, Rav-4 or something along those lines. Something that's more mid-sized but has the AWD and a little clearance. Subaru's are stupid expensive out here, so those are probably out. Jeep Liberty's seem to be a little more expensive than the others we've been researching and I've a little wary of their reliability anyway.*MFC Elder Statesmen Cabinet Crew*
