Welcome to Part II of my journal - There’s a Ham in the Power Rack! Looks like I had the other journal up for almost five years, finally maxed it out. So hold on to your socks people, there shall be plenty more shenanigans and ovariez to the wallz lifting to come in this journal.
Cliffs notes on Hammie:
-I have trex arms of peace
-I lift heavy weights
-I have a ginger kitteh Maximus who is part ninja
-I love food HNNGGGG!
-I have recently gotten into woodworking and more specifically building cat castles, seriously
-And I like dinosaurs, and ninjas, and find farts hilarious
Current Stats:
Female (yep that’s why this is in female journaling)
170lb
5’6” tall
32 years old
PRS:
Bench: 190
Squat: 250
Deadlift: 315
OHP: 105x4
really good bp session recently, these are all the 170lb sets
Only specific lifting goal I have right now is to improve my body weight pull ups and chin ups. Just bought a sweet Power Tower so I can do them at home any time. Here's where I'm at with those right now:
Other lifts are pretty good for now, would be happy to gradually move up and stay injury free.
My sweet baby Maximus DAWWWW!

Love your cliffs

Oh my so much has happened while I have been absent. First I am so glad you are feeling better. Yes. Same with Max. Glad the iPod id fixed. I have quite a bit of both Metallica and Billy Joel if you want me to email you some cd's with the data. And then I get to the bottom and Hammie gets a new journal! How cool!

Feeling a lot better, mornings and nights are kinda ugh cause I have a bit of a cold now but I've had much worse. Was happy to get up early and get in to work nice and early today, did some things there for a few hours, then worked from home and filed a massive amount of crap that's been piling up for a few months. I love getting chit done. Doing as much as possible on the office work side to make things as easy as possible for myself for the future. If I was a superhero, my superpower would be Extreme Organization, srs.
Taking today to get eating normally back on track and taking all my joint sups, vitamins, etc. Planning to do something for a workout tomorrow, even if it's just some pull ups and chin ups, nothing too crazy like DL. Had a nice snuggle with Max after he got upset I wouldn't let him in my office, pet gate of peace. I can't allow anyone in there who is going to eat the pens and trample all the papers.
And I've been drinking nothing but TEA, so come at me.Current PRs:

Horray for getting office work done! That is such a good feeling to get the paperwork out of the way.
I laughed about Max at the pet gate. Does he sulk?Spoon Barbell Club

I should tell you about my Bonnie...in the 2 months I've had her she's swallowed parts of a plant, a chicken bone and was choking on something a couple of nights ago. She also likes chewing on pens and trampling papers! The worry of kittehs!

Oh my! Time to bolt everything to the floor! My older girl cat Cheetah is responsible and doesn't get into anything, ever, but Max is like a furry Evil Knievel. Locks on anything that opens, gates up, and certain rooms off limit, he's a bowel obstruction waiting to happen. :/

Every morning I have to set aside an extra 15 minutes for belly rub time to appease the cat.

Drinking PWO going to lift - Squats, Pull Ups, Chin Ups! Felt pretty sick still yesterday so ended up sitting on couch in gym shorts holding head waiting for death. Seem to be doing better today. I have a lot of weird stuff oozing out of my body today so I think that's a sign the sickness is almost over. I had a sprinkled donut today too.Current PRs:

Squats went great, kept the wt about 10-20lbs lower than normal but did a lot more reps to make up for it. Can't breathe through nose at all yet, and have all kinds of disgusting nose jizz lolol pouring out so yeah thank goodness for home gyms! Was really happy with how much I managed to do on squats. Pull ups and chin ups were an outright struggle. Haven't done those in like 10 days, next time will be easier.
My mom is officially retiring today. I sent her a card and wrote what I'm pretty sure she'll find hilarious, she has a similar sense of humor as me (my dad not so much, he sees something funny and just crosses his arms and goes "HMPHH!") Anyways I wrote... "Congratulations on your retirement! I hope you have a lot of fun shenanigans planned - illegally feeding the geese, cow-tipping, and streaking through the park! Haha, jk, please don't get arrested! Love, Hammie" I think that's hilarious anyway. I know Mothers Day is coming up shortly so I'm gonna send her a mega flower extravaganza next week too.Current PRs:

Me and my classy self. Thanks Wish.
Haha, thanks Sophie!

Going to lift at home in a wee bit. Was trying to just set up my new ipod really quick. I already have my itunes set up all nice and neat so I figured I could just plug in the new device, copy library over to it, and we'd be good, right? No. "New ipod can not be used before updating itunes to Version 1 million and 5!" Ugh, trying to do that now, it's taking a lonnnnng time. Might have to just use my phone for music again and let this do its thing. I did get the shock proof, water proof, havoc proof case on it though, so I feel better knowing that's there. This new ipod is never ever coming to work with me though, srs. Oh god, itunes is doing something weird, holdme.jpg, I fear you itunes, I fear itunes and bears and radiation.
Had to work all day yesterday. Came home with a mighty feast of pizza and wings, watched like 3 Netflix movies until I passed out in a bbq sauce induced coma. I will admit half the movies I start I don't get past like 15 minutes because they end up sucking donkey balls (Netflix is horrible about "Movies recommended for Hammie") but the ones that have been amazing lately are Tracks and Skating to New York. I love anything where people go on adventures out in the wilderness, that's my all time favorite. I especially like the adventures out in the desert where they get really thirsty so I can sit there with a giant glass of cold iced tea and enjoy the hell out of that while people in the movie die of dehydration. It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy about my life!Current PRs:

Lol! Mind is always blown when people decide oh let's go out wayyyy into the desert with our 5 and 7 yr old kids with a very limited water and food supply and no phone and drive through a buncha sharp rocks. What... the... fuk. Happens all the time on the show "I Shouldn't Be Alive."
