I have searched high and low for a thread upon this but I am without luck.
My question is "Will eating 1 pound of peanuts a day put on weight?"
I am currently 130lbs 5" 6 and have trouble putting on size no matter what. I have a very fast metabolism and have tracked my diet for 2 weeks where I put on 4 lbs and have kept it.
My diet is about 175g of protein 350 carbs and 115g fat on average and close to 3500 calories.
If I include these nuts I will bring my diet to somewhere in the 7000 calorie range, 320g fat 430 carbs and 160 protein.
I don't take any supplements but I will start taking a protein powder. Any suggestions on what to take?
I was wondering if this would help me gain weight how much would I gain if I could gain 2lbs/week with a 5x5?
Workout routine to follow up for mass? I want to hit 175.

I don't care about fat gain just want to pit on size since all I have gotten is strength and its stupid looking when a small kid deads triple his weight 225 bench and 315 squat. Those are my 1 rep maxes at the moment but I haven't put on a single pound except for a few months ago and I've worked out for 11 months.

well if you are 15 years old as in your profile , you are still teen. you got 3 years to grow. you will be bigger than you are now. just gain 2-3 lbs a month consistently. gaining fat doesnt mean you will be big , depending on your genetics everything can go to your belly and you can still look scrawny , who knows. you dont have to eat 7000 calories , just eat 3-4 thousand and gain consistently

7000 calories/day isn't even needed. There's only so much muscle your body can build off of a surplus before the rest is water weight and fat. I suggest you apply common sense and just eat more food and worry less about your caloric intake as a teenager and the gains will show. Everything takes time. You won't make gains in just a month.
But, as to your question, yes, eating 1 lb of peanuts will make you put on weight provided if that helps you get into a caloric surplus. I wouldn't recommend it, but it's really up to you.

That's just... nuts. I'll show myself out now.
If you're eating a consistent amount and gaining over the last couple of weeks, then you don't really need to change what you're doing. Some of the gain you've had over the last couple of weeks is probably water weight as well. If you stop gaining, eat more; if you're gaining too quickly, cut your intake bit a little bit. You don't need to worry about tracking calories at your age. You're a teenager, so your body is still growing and developing, and your needs will very widely over the next few years. Just eat well, lift hard, hang out with friends and enjoy it while you're young.
Look in the Workout Programs section for several well-structured beginner routines to pick from. Rome didn't pop up overnight, and neither will your mass and strength. It's about progress, not perfection.
I'm not an expert when it comes to most aspects of life; sometimes, I have no idea what I'm doing. The more I learn, the more I can do, and the more I can pay it forward and help others.

Please don't eat 1 lb of peanuts. You'd feel awful and there's no reason to pigeon hole your diet like that.
Instead, add more whole foods with plenty of good fats and complex carbs. Up your carb ratios if you're really trying to gain.
There's no reason to try and just put on dead weight. You think you look weird being small, but you're only 15 and putting up decent numbers for your weight. Eating 1 lb of peanuts is just gonna add a bunch of fat on you. Also, you're gonna feel like crap if you rapidly gain that much fat. Make constant gains and keep lifting hard.
