I've always thought it was sad the way Tupac's life turned out. As beta as he was, he seemed like a very nice, respectable, intelligent young man in that first clip. Fast forward to the mid 90's, he was on a complete downward spiral that ended up getting him killed.
Think about it. Instead of being a gangsta rapper, he could've ended up making some real refreshing, conscious Hip Hop like Common or Mos Def. I think it would've far surpassed what he put out.
