Weighed in this morning at 202.8!!!! 17.8lbs lost so far. 2 weeks ago I weighed in at 211 so 8.2lbs lost in 2 weeks.
It seems like im losing too much weight to quickly. Anyone else think I should up my calories?
Im currently eating 2100 calories a day at 5'10" I work out 3-4 days a week and I weigh all my food with a scale so I know the calories are accurate

It kills me, because it's my body's 'go-to' for fat storage. Once I am over 150lbs, things start to get ugly lol. OBF is going ok so far. I am down 8 lbs from the start. Just need to get more consistent with the gym
What are your workouts looking like in the gym these days Cap?
If it was me, and I knew I was getting in enough protein while losing that quickly, would stick with it. It's OK to lose more than 2lbs a week if your micronutrients, omega 3s, and protonz are in check (Lyle McDonald has explained this in his Rapid Fat Loss book). I would definitely have a maintenance period after 6-8 weeks of dieting, but that's good practice with any diet.

Thanks.my daily intake for protein is 210 a day and I take bcaas and omega 3 fish oil daily.
Energy levels are great. Noticed a slight decrease in the gym the last 2 days bit that could be because I've been working 65 hours a week at work too.

Ok, i'm weighing in at 233 today. Not bad for my actual week off from the gym and man did I need the week off. Felt drained both physically & mentally so it was good to get away from the iron for a few days. But I did stay active every day. I had 4 days of cardio&Abs this week and diet was PERFECT. Funny how I was still abel to drop 4Lbs this week without stepping a foot inside my gym. After the last month & a half from tracking all calories & hitting my Macros i'm really not all that surprised....heck I bet I could probably drop 5-6 Lbs a week if I really wanted to but my goal is to Recomp & so far i'm on track. We basically have 2 weeks before X-Mas so I want to get down another 4/5 Lbs before the big day so that I can enjoy myself around the dinner table for that day. I can do it! I can do it!
Glad to hear that everyone is still working hard to achieve their goals.

Ok, holding a high 242, a few oz.'s from 243, lifting heavy / eating clean. Body seem to like the new workout and increased food. I'm hitting new PR's every week and noticing a change in my body/size. GREAT NEWS, had too buy a new belt to hold up my pants, so.... Thinking mini bulk to 245 and start cut first of the year and aim for 225 by Spring.

Had a cheat meal and my god was it amazing! 20 oz porterhouse, sweet potato loaded with butter, Cesar salad, honey wheat bread with butter and CHEESECAKE! Dinner and desert alone was 2600 calories. Went over by 2000 calories today. Gonna hit the gym tomorrow before work then go after work for some extra cardio

Morning all. Some great weigh ins over this weekend glad to see people sticking with it. I was pretty happy with my 2.6lbs loss for the week as i'd been ill and not done much cardio. 196.6lbs now and still aiming for 185 by end of this comp.

im gonna have to start bailing out on all those Christmas work luncheons and family dinners...
Its crazy... Lunch was alright.. Had like.. 6 oz of homemade pulled pork I did, 4 oz jerk chicken I made, 1 cup of broccoli slaw, 1.2 cup of red cabbage slaw I made, 3/4 cip of this cake made with light whipped cream and oat cookie based and 1 sq inch of Nanaimo bar. My breaky was 500 cals... So Im pretty positive im under 2000 cals but I feel awful about it. hahaha
Did 30 mins of cardio and burned 500 cals.. And 45 minutes back workout...
My usual calorie intake is between 1500-1800 cals a day...
Skipping dinner tonight that's for damn sure. LOLTransformation Thread: https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=177716261&p=1591136601#post1591136601

good morning, all! i'll have reliable internet access for a bit. i used a gym where i'm at and got in a surprisingly good workout with the limited equipment that they had... i might have to skip some weigh-ins since i don't have a scale of my own here. there's one inside the gym but i'd have to guess the weight of my clothes.
thanks, Kristen. i saw a motivational poster out here that said something like - the way you speak to the people you love, speak that way to yourself.
congrats, on the 8 lbs, M! same here. i need my gym time otherwise things fall apart the way they're falling apart right now, lol. i was on the road, i wasn't active at all and i wasn't showing any restraint in my meal choices or serving sizes and drinking lots of regular soda... i don't eat chips when i'm on my own but someone was putting them in front of me to help me stay alert while driving and i wasn't saying no.
all of a sud i can barely fit into this one pair of jeans that i've had for the last few years.
i did work out yesterday, however, and i'll work out again this morning. doms by their very nature make me more conscious of my body. i should be more self-aware at breakfast today. my core/abs are pretty sore right now.
i'm still doing my own full body routine but yesterday at this unfamiliar gym i had to get used to some new equipment so my reps and sets - they were completely random. i just tried to go as heavy as i could and experimented with different exercises and settings. it was hard to tell what weights were represented by the numbers on their equipment.
...i've had this message open for a while. i just checked out my belly and it's looking a helluva lot better. i did retain a lot of water during the trip. once it's gone i'll have a better sense of how i'm doing.
set some alarms in your phone, maybe? any idea what's going on? was getting to the gym difficult due to the weather?
congrats again. (i commented elsewhere on C's progress.)
Thanksgiving hit us kinda hard in here, lol. something interesting happened, however. spreadsheet participation held steady the last two weeks, a sign that a few felt confident enough to return last week. i know it'll drop again but that made me happy. eta: that was a reference to 11/29 and 12/6.
feel free to post in both threads, guys and gals! there's also the year-long challenge. fatzilla posted that he's taking newcomers in there again if you need to double or triple up on motivation.

Awesome as always John! Down to 196.0 today only 0.6lbs lost for the week but i know i've been a little lax on the diet and doing cardio. Luckily for me my gym is only closed xmas day so i will be making good use of it to do some damage limitation of xmas day and boxing day!
Trying to decide now whether to continue down to 185 or start a recomp at 190 as every pound is making a difference now and i'm starting to feel the strength go a bit.
Hope everyone has a good weigh in!Nitro's Transformation Thread veteran.

@Caprica, thanks! I did!! Also proud to have maintained my weight this weekend, for the first time haha. I usually gain a few pounds...Had a killer Biceps/Back workout yesterday with a buddy of mine. I don't usually workout on weekends but hey, felt like it.
6 weeks left to our Transformation Challenge! I had imagined people would be stoked and post quite more than this! I realise this is the holidays but seeing this thread on Page 3 this am makes me a tiny bit sad! hahaha If theres a time to get stoked and keep focus/support, from others in this thread, it surely is NOW!
Keep it up guys! Awesome progress and a lot of inspiration in this thread!!
Have a great week!
