I wasnt going to buy GTA V for the current gen because I think it's a huge waste to buy the copy of a game you already own(ala TLOU Remastered) BUT the FPS makes the game so damn different and R* went and put in actual work to make it happen. I have no problem trading in my copy for 12 bucks and getting the PS4 version.

COD is pretty good, multiplayer is even more fast paced than the past. it's ridiculous. campaign is solid too. probably will end up trading it off for GTAV once it comes out though. then play then until FFXV.

13 New Details About New-Gen GTA V




By now, you'll almost certainly have read about Grand Theft Auto V's new first-person mode on new-gen consoles and PC. But it's not the only new detail that has emerged in the past 24 hours.

Rockstar didn't invite us to play the new-gen versions, because clearly Rockstar doesn't love us enough (single tear), but our dear friends at CVG and Gizmodo UK were blessed with its favour. Here are some new things we've learned from their time with the new-gen versions - I highly recommend that you read both articles for more detail.




On PS4, the light bar will flash red and blue when you're being chased by the cops.

Also on PS4, you can touch the touchpad to switch modes between first- and third-person. There will be a few options to control when the game's in first-person and when it switches back to third - you can have it so that shooting is in first-person but it snaps back to third-person when you're in cover, for instance.

The PC version is 4K compatible and PS4/Xbox One versions will run at 1080p/30fps. I mean, we knew that already, but now we know it's definitely true. It looks beautiful.

All the vehicles have had their interiors re-done to take advantage of first-person view. All the dials work!

Police radio and phone calls are now emitted by the DualShock 4's speaker.

Swiping the touch panel now changes weapons and radio stations.





Los Santos is now filled with different animals; those monsters at CVG discovered that fluffy cats aren't bullet-proof

There are thousands of new first-person animations for reloading weapons, parachuting, and other activities.

The phone is now a 3D object, and selfie mode is even more creepily realistic than before.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Will Get 16 DLCs That Will Be Completely Free To Everyone



CD Projekt RED has revealed its DLC plans for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. According to the company, this new The Witcher game will receive 16 DLCs. Contrary to all other titles, however, all this new content will be available to everyone from the get-go. Yeap, CD Projekt RED will be releasing 16 FREE DLCs.

Marcin Iwinski, co-founder and Joint CEO of CD PROJEKT RED, revealed in an open letter to the game’s fanbase:

“With The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, we have decided to do it differently. Cutting to the chase, everyone who buys Wild Hunt will receive 16 specially prepared DLCs absolutely for free, regardless of platform. You don’t have to pre-order, you don’t have to buy any special edition to get them — if you own a copy of Wild Hunt, they’re yours. This is our way of saying thank you for buying our game.”





On February 25th, CD Projekt RED will release the first bundle of DLCs (2 of the planned 16) — the Temerian Armor Set (horse armor included) and a Beard and Hairstyle Set for Geralt, the game’s protagonist. After this date, a DLC bundle consisting of two DLCs will be published every week, entirely for free. Gamers are entitled to the free DLC regardless of obtaining the game via pre-order or after launch. Instructions on how to obtain DLCs on specific platforms will be provided at a later date.

CD Projekt RED has also shared the following small FAQ via a press release:

Q: What do I have to do to receive the 16 free DLCs?

A: The only thing you need to do to receive the 16 DLCs is purchase The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. All of the DLCs will be available for free on every platform (i.e. Xbox One, PC, and PlayStation 4).

Q: Do I have to pre-order to get the free DLCs?

A: No, each piece of content will be available for download regardless of you buying the game before or after launch on February 24th, 2015.

Q: I have the standard version of the game (i.e. not the Collector’s Edition). Do I still get the free DLCs?

A: Yes. You get the 16 DLCs regardless of the version of the game you bought (i.e. standard or Collector’s, digital or physical).

Q: What’s the plan? When can I expect the DLCs to be released?

A: The plan is to release a new DLC bundle (each bundle contains two DLCs) on a weekly basis, following the game’s launch February 24th, 2015. The first DLC bundle will be released the next day on February 25th. The next bundle will be available for download a week after that, on March 4th, the next on March 11th, and so on. The first bundle will contain the Temerian Armor Set and a Beard and Hairstyle Set for Geralt. The second bundle will contain an additional quest and an alternative look for one of the game’s main characters — Yennefer of Vengerberg.

A: You can find more details on www.thewitcher.com. At this moment, four DLCs (two bundles) are revealed. The remaining DLCs will be unveiled each week after launch.

I'm going to have to get GTA V for the PS4. The graphics look better but I'm excited about the 1st person view. I'm more excited that it sounds like you can have it changed. For example when I'm controlling a character I'll want it to automatically go to FPV but when I'm driving/flying I want to be in 3rd person.

hahaha no thx jeff. Game looks pretty generic to be honest. The rpg elements and skills are boring , just a few basic stat increases. Plus its another faux mmo. Only 4 player coop I think? Idk why these games keep saying their games are mmos just because they dont have a multiplayer lobby lmao.

Cd projekt red proving they are some of the best devs around.

Where do I start. Tagging enemies through some sort of vision so you can see them wherever you go. Crafting all your different weapons from valuables you catch and find. Outlook posts where it does a panoramic of the area and reveals the map. Bounty contracts. etc etc..

I'm not saying it's a copy paste but there are a ton of similarities. I do like Far Cry way more than AC though.

Now that you mention I do remember some similarities, mainly the climbing towers part. But even warnebros is starting to do that with their games. But the tagging enemies and crafting stuff is pretty different in those gsmes, and those type of mechanics go wayy back before ac series.
