So I started to cut j food out 2 weeks ago and feel real good now,I want to get down to 130kg(286 lb)
I'am 37 in good health no known medical problems except for being on anti-psychotic drugs and my obese self.
I use to be fit at 18 then was beaten up by a gang and all the weight started to pile on after that I have suffered from Depression/Anxiety alot in my 20's but are coming right in my 30's
Just starting out now and learning as I go along.

It might seem weird mavajo but I have been studying Buddhism for 3 years and it just popped in my head 2 weeks ago maybe I should try practicing non-attachment to junk food which I have had a problem with all my life,I said to myself I'll study non-attachment to junk food for 1 year and see what happens and now at 2 weeks junk food free I can see a bright future and a way to lose weight as I have failed many many times before,I'm no religious nut but I do enjoy studying the Buddha.

anything is possible man, keep up the good work you have done so far.
i started at over 550 myself, at the end of 2011 i told myself i needed to change, i went from 550+ to 190 current. 360lbs in 2.5 years, not a crazy rate of loss but luckily i do not have an extreme skin hang due to the slower rate of loss.
only suggestion i have is simple, when i started i found counting calories far too tedious, so instead what i did was scale/count for 1 week and then i just ate the same 5 meals over and over since i knew how to make them within my macros. change up the spices, but leave the main items equal and you can have tasty meals that dont get too boring.Last edited by ToshiroAki; 06-04-2014 at 08:07 PM. Every journey begins with a single step. Whether youre walking outside to check the mail or walking to your car to go to work. No one can get to where they want to go without taking a first step. You've just done that! You CAN do this man! Stay the course! I look forward to all your great progress!

“Time is your most precious gift because you only have a set amount of it. You can make more money, but you can’t make more time. When you give someone your time, you are giving them a portion of your life that you’ll never get back.”
