Those of you who know me know that I reached 1 full year of serious cutting yesterday. I went from 245 to 187 in 12 months and look 100% better than I did before. I've lost 10" off my waist and went down 5 pants sizes.
Well, on July 11th I have a small weekend vacation coming up. There will be lots of swimming involved and I want to look the best I possibly can by then. I would like to spend the entire 4 day weekend shirtless...LOL.
So, my goal is to get to 175 Lbs by then, which is 12 Lbs in a little over 2 months. I feel this is very attainable since it's 1.5 Lbs a week loss. I've been averaging around 1.2 Lbs a week for 12 months, so I don't think amping it up to 1.5 will be too hard or ridiculous. Just a little more strict and a few less cheats and I should have it in the bag.
Anyway, just wanted to start this little 2 month log to keep myself accountable. I will be weighing in every day but only logging here on my Monday morning weigh-ins. My routines and diet will remain the same. I always do full body strength routines of 5x5, 3x5 or 5x3. I eat whatever I want, just making sure I stay within my deficit. I cheat once or twice a week but nothing crazy. Going to move that to once a week now and even less crazy.
Starting Stats
Weight: 187.2 Lbs
Waist: 33.75"
BF% (guesstimate): 18%
Progress So Far and Beginning Pics (on the right)
245-187
227-187
I would say "wish me luck", but there is no luck involved. Only hard work and dedication here.

My calories run from 1800-2000. I'll be keeping them the same.
I do cardio here and there but mostly just stay active. Me and my kids walk our dog almost every week day for 25 min walks at 3 mph. I ride my BMX bike with my kids while they skateboard and we go to the local skate park every Sunday morning for 3 to 4 hours. Riding ramps and half pipes is a killer cardio workout. We do other things like shooting baskets, tossing around the football, etc. My kids keep me going.Beginning Weight (1/13/2013)- 245

Nothing changed for my weigh-in this morning. Still holding at 187 Lbs. Might kick up the activity a bit more this week. Don't want to lower my calories anymore, since I'm already at 1800. I did have quite a bit of sodium yesterday and not enough water. Could possibly drop some weight in the next couple days. Only time will tell.

Thought I'd throw my lift PRs in this as well. Made PRs in all my lifts yesterday. I know they are nothing spectacular, but they are MY PRs.

I will be changing my weigh-ins from Monday mornings to Friday mornings. I have a little more sodium over the weekends, which masks my true weight. Was still 184 on Friday, so that was a whopping 3 Lbs lost last week! I still believe I have a good chance at making this goal.

Still no change in weight from last Friday. If it doesn't move after this week, I will lower calories some more and see where I go from there. Looking like I might not reach my goal in time, but I'm still continuing to push for it. No matter what, I will still be lighter than I am now by the time I go on vacation.

The last week or so I've discovered, the leaner I get, the more hungry I am after breakfast. Any time I eat breakfast now, and it doesn't matter what I eat (cereal and fruit/steak and eggs), I am ravenous about 30 minutes to an hour after eating. I'm talking stomach loudly growling, hunger pangs, the works. I'm then suffering all the way til my next meal, which is usually around noon. I think for now I'm going to go back to IF and not break my fast until noon. I'm much less hungry throughout the morning hours if I skip "breakfast" all together.

So, I didn't eat breakfast this morning and I'm not hungry like I had been when eating breakfast. I'm also much more alert and not tired at all. When I would eat breakfast, along with the hunger, I would be VERY sleepy. I feel great! No more breakfast for this guy.

Good weigh in this morning. Still not sure if I'll reach my goal but pushing on. I've got 8.6 Lbs to lose in 5 weeks. It's still doable, it's just getting harder and harder to lose now that I'm getting leaner.
