    Unhappy traps won't grow

    My traps won't grow guys, I have small traps compared to the rest of my body and it sucks when i see other guys with huge traps that when they wear t shirts and tanks they look big as all hell. I've been doing multiple trap exercises but they won't grow. What do?

    Yes, heavy deads are great for traps and overall development.

    Then you need to cause more tension on your traps.


    Your muscle doesnt know the difference from 6 reps compared to 10 reps if your not giving it time under tension on every rep.
    Your muscles grow from Progressive overload whether its 5lb more or 2 seconds more at the squeezing part of the rep.


    Tip that helped me Mix power lifting 1 day a week on that bodypart and then have a 2nd day of hypertrophy training.
    The powerlifting with give me strength and improve my Central nervous system so that my hypertrophy training and time under tension weight will increase!

    It is really genetic. If your collar bones are wide, it will be harder to make em look bigger. But you look wider ! It's a trade off !! But deadlift+shrugs at the top will help

    Agreed, mostly about 99% genetic but deadlifts, rows, and also do french press. you feel the burn after a few reps if you go heavy

    doing deadlifts works only my lower back which means **** **** for me?
    i take care doing it correctly and i do heavy weight too maybe shrugs , barbell rows might work

    Do shrugs with a diamond bar. That's what helped me grow my lats.
