Altho the main thing to be watching is your macro intake and total calorie level

You need to learn that protein shakes are not magic...

Beef protein isolate is a poor source of protein. It's generally made from collagen/gelatin.

You are really digging a hole in this thread. You may wish to rethink listening to reps as they are often reps because they are a bit more knowledgeable than the average poster (well sometimes....sometimes...)

Okay... Let me run you through the science of this. Protein powders won't directly increase weight/strength. They're simply to SUPPLEMENT protein when you don't attain enough from foods.

Actually one of the reasons its hard to pick a good powder is because protein isnt necessarily protein.

Look at the top rated proteins in the store. But to save you some time, ON 100% Gold Standard Whey and Phase8 are both really good proteins. Phase8 is a blended protein and slower release than gold standard whey

In store ratings and reviews are one of the worst possible gauges of quality. May be good for telling flavor tho.


Digestion speed is irrelevant when it comes to gains.
