A firefighter in Chula Vista, Calif., was cuffed and detained by police at a crash site on Tuesday after he got in a dispute with a California Highway Patrol officer over where his truck was parked. Local news crews filmed the bust.
All while firefighters were responding to a crash.

I saw this online tonight. What an absolute idiot...the cop!
There's all manner of 'back-tracking' on the part of the police to insure that everyone knows established policy! I wonder...just how many years did this police officer have on the force? Anybody and everybody knows, all over the freakin' country...firefighters leave their trucks wherever the hell they want to. Just who's to say different? Not even an idiot cop! Hand-cuff a firefighter for doing his job?
I'm not saying the moron cop should be fired, but he should have his ass sat down at a desk for several months!paolo59

That guy is stationed in the fire house right next to my apartment. Typical over reaction from the highway patrol.

It's SOP to park the rig in a position to protect first responders. I've done it many times myself and I've never had an officer question the placement. Sounds like someone was having a bad day and got butt hurt when a certain firefighter questioned his command.
