So this is a Real Talk thread, for those of you who do not know what Real Talk means, it means no BS, speak from your heart without worrying about repercussions, or offending others. It means to speak freely and truthfully.

My real talk for the day:
We need to stop all this political correctness bu11sh!t, we need to go back to where we once were and allow people to say what and how they feel without worrying about getting sued, or losing their job, or offending this group or that group or one kind of religion over another or an atheist.

---ME. To you, that means tossing around hateful comments about gays or another minority group you don't care for and calling it "real talk". No, that's called being an a**hole, IMHO. And considering you're also part of a minority group, pot, meet kettle. PC is overrated, but I call it having some common sense. Some people got it, a lot don't.

We need to keep Christmas in our vocabulary and in our emails etc etc and not replace it with "Happy Holidays"
We need to keep "In God we trust" in the all mighty dollar and in our courtrooms.

--ME. Who is "we". Christmas is already a word. And since "we" have free speech, I can use whatever term I like. I don't care for Christmas, never did, don't follow it, so why shouldn't I replace it if I choose with "Happy Holidays"?
As for the second part of your statement, which God? 'Nuff said.

We need to have some kind of faith and believe that there is still goodness in people and that this world is not full of hate.

--ME. That's your choice and I'm fine with that. As long as you don't foist it on others, no biggie. But in some of your posts and what I've read by others on this forum, it seems that there's some foisting going on, or at the very least, the desire to do so.

We need to learn to love again not only our families and friends but our neighbors and strangers and above all we need to learn to love ourselves.

What do I think?

I think firstly that all this extremist bulls*** should be removed from our countries.

I also think that our so called leaders of the countries need to get off their f*****g high horses and come back down to reality and see exactly how we the people that actually do all the hard work live and how they can even consider giving themselves and all the other 8-----D's that think they contribute to our country (which is total utter bull) a payrise. especially when they have cut our police force( whats left of it), our healthcare system and firefighters ect.

We need to get alot tougher on the people in the country that are there fighting against us not with us and show that as people we do give a F*** about our countries and that we are not willing to let these so called governments make us look like 8------D's anymore!!!!!!

X-Mas is a way for people to take the Christ out of Christmas. I don't debate religion because who am I to judge anyone for what they believe or what they don't believe. Everyone is entitled to live their lives according to the way they feel is right which is why I try and respect everyone's belief's within reason. My biggest issue with the topic of Religion is how people who don't believe in God love to disrespect those that do believe in Him and call them stupid etc like they are all defensive rather than offer people some form of courtesy or respect for living their lives the way they want to.
