I've done a humerus reset before, where I apply pressure at the front of the humerus directed behind me, ideally with a power band, that literally pulls the humerus further back in the socket. Helps with biceps tendon/shoulder problems.
Sucks this is happening to you and I hope you see a physical therapist soon.

Update got a call this morning from my doctor about the x-rays she had me do. She said her findings doesn't look to be normal and looks as if I my also have some rotator cuff damage as well. But she doesn't feel 100% comfortable in saying for sure because she's not a shoulder doctor So we'll see on the 2nd what the shoulder doctor has to say, still got my finger crossedᕙ(͡°‿ ͡°)

Sucks to hear about the shoulder Wish. Hope that it really isn't the rotator cuff. Mine still isn't 100% yet.....

if your not bodybuilding you probably can heal without surgery. hard to say for sure but i know alot of powerlifters with torn biceps who never got surgery they just walk around with a retarded looking bicep. I still am out of the gym. I go in for chemo tomorrow for my evans syndrome. hoping it boosts my numbers back up so next week i can get back in the gym. Im feeling weaker by the day. and i will be squating my first day back LOL.

Does it kill to raise you arm up? I couldn't put a shirt on for a few weeks when I hurt my left shoulder. Right shoulder hasn't been as bad..... Injuries suck, but just obstacles to overcome and not hold you back.

just had some time to catch up but damn wish thats terrible luck. from what you described though (as a kinesiology and former athletic training student) It appears that its just the biceps brachii portion of your bicep that is strained/torn now if it hurts more towards your clavicle rather than the tip of your humerus then it the short head thats torn, if its more towards the long head. with that being said I would assume your rotator cuff is fine because that is more of a scapular motion. So the good news (if you want to call it that) is its probably more of the bicep/AC joint injury!

It isn't any fun, I don't wish this on anyone
Fingers are crossed
The earliest I can get in with the orthopedic surgeon is Oct 2
Yeah I have trouble getting my arm above my head or binding it behind my back. I also have some issues when it comes to twisting my wrist, like trying to turn a doorknob. Even trying to laying on that shoulder is a huge no no.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A little update. Actually went into the gym this morning done some cardio an tried doing squats. That was a no go had trouble loading the plates on the bar and when I finally got it loaded wasn't able to do squats. Had trouble getting my left arm up to grab the bar an when I did an un-racked the weight it was just to much pressure on the shoulder. So I ended up just doing some leg press, leg extensions, and leg curls. I hit calves while on the leg press.ᕙ(͡°‿ ͡°)

It's the long head that she said was torn because it's nothing but lose skin from that part of my bicep to my shoulder. My bicep what little I can get it flexed it looks like popeyes bicep is a better way to describe it. The overall whole shoulder hurts like a bish, from the back of the shoulder blade all the way around to the front of the shoulder
