COD Ghost news ( IGN comes to bat for Sony quickly )

Call of Duty: Ghosts is 1080p on PS4 according to IGN







All this week Call of Duty: Ghosts videos will be going up on IGN. Not only that, but the footage from the game will apparently be from a PlayStation 4 running the game at 1080p.

If IGN’s Scott Lowe is correct, then this will be your first chance to see the game running on the Sony next-gen console in full HD.

No worries. Sony will make sure they'll upgrade it to 1080p when they release it for the PS4.

Even so, it's not a game I'm likely to buy. As far as shooters go, I'm sticking with COD Ghosts and BF4.

EA President Claims They Are "Longterm Supporters" Of Sony





While EA may have stepped towards Microsoft this generation with DLC exclusivity deals, and into the next, allowing Microsoft to package a copy of FIFA 14 in with every “Day One” version of the Xbox One, EA president Frank Gibeau has moved to assure PlayStation fans that they’re behind Sony’s next console, which releases next month.

“We’re not tilting Microsoft’s way,” said Gibeau when asked about the FIFA 14 Xbox One bundle in the latest edition of Edge magazine. ”We are firm longterm supporters of Sony.”

He also announced plans to balance this currently skewed support, saying “I’m sure you’ll see tactical programmes between us and Sony in the future that we haven’t announced, but will make things much more balanced.”

It’s good to see that EA are confident in Sony. While they may have faltered with the launch of the PS3, it’s clear that Sony have a good approach to the next generation. In the end, it’s all about the support, so it will be interesting to see what the next few years could bring.

I like the "kiddie games" like ratchet and clank etc.

I really liked kz 3 and I hate fps games. But cod and bf are the same recycled garbage every generation and I'm over it. At least kz changes the story up and the mechanics are very different. That's why I like it.

1887 is a must buy for me. But it's not a launch game so I didn't mention it.

As far as AC. I don't understand the hype. It's fuking pirate themed?! Are you kidding me? How lame can it get? Bring AC back to the medieval or dark age times and I'll be all over it. It lost its appeal to me after brotherhood. I definitely won't buy ac4. No amount of internet hype or convincing will change my mind.

Following on from the release of the Call of Duty Ghosts launch trailer, EA has wasted no time in unleashing their own launch trailer for Battlefield 4. It looks fantastic overall, but there appears to be one scene in the trailer that is leaving a sour taste in some people’s mouths.

That scene features one of the main characters punching a dog straight in the face, complete with sound effects that may be uncomfortable to one or two dog lovers out there.

Obviously this is an attempt to insert a bit of comedy into the game, as we all know that the rival game Call of Duty Ghosts is going to be centered around a German Shepherd dog named Riley. Is this a bit of harmless fun by DICE and EA, or do you think it is going a little bit too far?

Either they aren't gamers, just want to hate on BF4, just trying to get hits for their site, or have never played COD (you snap dogs necks and they welp).

Are you talking about changing your screen name? If so then Sony has already announced that you won't be able to. As for just syncing a new one with an old one. I doubt you'll be able to do that either.
