Completely forgot....does HD SSC have truffles in it? I may need to rescoop. It's been over a year now since I had it.
Progressive overload + progressive eating = gains. Simple as that!

I don't think it had any, but still thought it was good anyway. I've always felt truffles are a weird mix-in, was not expecting them in T SSC...it's hard to enjoy the taste of them fully in gelato/ic imo
Yup...it really does sound amazing but it was far from it. Blondies need to be larger, core less salty (maybe even swirled in, bc base was not very exciting either).Protein Bar Review thread:

Bob I'm getting extremely confused reading most of your reviews lately
After digging into the pint a bit more the Swirl seemed to overpower the small tiny fudge brownie pieces which were reminiscent of the nut pieces in nutty caramel Swirl (From Ben & Jerry's) which are very lack luster in size. It is not a very thick or dense swirl which you may find in Turkey Hill's Pumpkin Pie which is divine, but does allude to a nice chocolate aftertaste combined with the strong base.Yes... Gelato Fiasco - Peanut Butter Stracciatella - This was a choice that was highly recommended by someone that works at Fairway. I had seen it before obviously but knew nothing about the brand. I took a $7 shot on it. I don't know if I remember ever eating a PB ice cream or gelato where I was literally crunching on peanuts. It was rather nice. The chocolate pieces were not bitter at all and complemented it well. Another one of the main ingredients is Sea Salt which I'm glad the added. It gave it another layer of flavor which I enjoy. I would recommend this one and I will be trying a few other flavors that are out.

I figured since everybody's biggest complaint about the Core flavors was the Core itself, a swirled variation would be a welcome addition.

Definitely a bad choice to compare size, though Bob likes to reference other ice cream flavors in his reviews so people can try to have an idea for comparison. He would be better off to use common things like coins or something similar to the mix in next time though since not everyone can get access to that flavor and it is a bit weird t compare a nut to a baked good.

I hate to admit it, but I've found a few Breyers Blasts I've tried to be pretty good (I think mainly because I love mix ins). I tried the cookie dough after Bob recommended it, and loved it. I recently tried the Toffee Blasts and though the pieces are tiny, they really mesh well altogether. The frozen dairy dessert bases are generally not great by themselves, but it does have a sweet creaminess, and are pretty good when mixed in with lots of tiny additions as they do in the Blasts line.
I am afraid to expand too far into the Blasts line though, any other Blasts flavor recommendations?

Personally, I can't hate on the Blasts! line at all... If you have a craving for a certain flavor, they absolutely do the trick! From experience, I've had, 1. Birthday 2. Samoas 3. Reese's 4. Reese's Chocolate 5. Mrs. Field's Fudge Brownie 6. Waffle Cone... Favorites were Birthday, Samoas, Reese's, and Waffle Cone. I don't care how light they were, them things were tasty! and pretty low in cals!
