I know right, wtf is going on!!!! I have friends who are on the circuit, they all compete in MP divisions, lots of them place, and all them who do place use celltech and proton shakes along with stronger shakes, religously. You cant look like that coupled with the conditioning, what dont ppl understand,,, what dont IFBB forum posters understand? and you can go off the shakes and maintain size for the comps. this is Natural bodybuilding, its not some miracle. Im shocked at the ppl on this forum that try and argue. Its not a arguement. Keep quiet if you dont know chit.
Maybe a IFBB pro physique competitor has not been drinking shakes for a year now, or a few months more, or 2 years, does that make a person a natural competitor?Last edited by jld010; 05-12-2013 at 03:09 AM.

It's really not rocket science.
100% drug free. Not on gear, just come off gear or have ever touched gear.
That's it. No grey areas. Nothing.
If that's not you, you're never allowed to claim you're natural. By any stretch.Novice Athletic Tall winner and Overall Athletic winner

Let me just step in here and offer you guys another perspective.
There is an overwhelming mentality in American society that steroids are drugs not unlike, morally speaking, heroin or *******. Selling, having, and using steroids are serious taboos that a person would only admit to if/when speaking to another meathead, if at all.
The thing is, in most other countries, when you are not talking about cheating in sports, steroids are just..... nothing. Something that "big guys take and that makes your dick shrink". In Brazil you don't go to jail for it, you don't even get **** for it. It's not seen as a drug but as an extreme supplement that guys who care too much about their appearance use. In eastern europe where I live now its use is ubiquitous in law enforcement and hooligans alike.
This is why I feel that discussions of this sort are a tad absurd... when people claim to be all-natural drug free with pride it makes me think "why would you shortchange yourself in this manner?". I see no point of pride in limiting your body's potential instead of using well-researched hormones in a controlled environment. It just looks impractical, self-sabotaging and naive to do this and still brag about it.
I suppose it is a point of pride to achieve an incredible physical development without any hormones but this is a testament to your genetics far more than it is to your (considerable, of course) discipline and efforts.
So you did it drug-free? Congrats on your exceptional genetics. That doesn't make you a better person on any level in my book, nor is there anything inherently noble about not using hormones in a sport that doesn't forbid them.
I think this stems from the US mentality that steroids = drugs, and this idiotic mentality is what will never allow bodybuilding to thrive, far more than the freakiness of the athletes or the alleged homoerotic implications of the sport.
The guy up there, Anton, his body is that of the perfect male specimen. I don't give two ****s if he did it on AAS or whey protein alone, and it baffles me that anyone would.Weight on the bar, food in your stomach, more of both = more muscle. Don't make this harder than it is. - VikingMan

Well, if don't know/can't pass the tests, it means that you haven't done your entire job well, especially when it's a high stake for you.
That's why I facepalm myself when I see teams/players from the big and rich sports, that can pay for the best doctors and researchers, who are still found doped. Usually the drug detectors are one step behind the labs. But sometimes they are worked from the inside and used as scapegoats in this witch hunt.

That's the dumbest logic ever, because the guy is slimmer than I am you respect him for claiming natural, but me, oh no, god forbid. Most of the people that simply can't believe someone is natural when they claim they are is because they are probably just too lazy to push themselves to their fullest potential. It's physique, we aren't competing in the ranks of Phil Heath.
Sincerely,

Based on the pics I've seen I think you can put enough mass on your arms/shoulders/chest to compete as a natural in MP. Personally I'd take the hormones over sacrificing my physiques overall balance. I guess that's just cause I'm a fan of bodybuilding, but it wouldn't hurt to enter a show to get your feet wet as a first time competitor. With that said, and the ambiguity of the judging, this really is the male bikini division...

Now I know you're not singling me out but for the record, I bust my ass in the gym and the kitchen.
I push everything to its max when it comes to my physique, because I love it and am always striving to improve.
I've been at this for a long time and I know EXACTLY what is achievable and what's not. Believe me.Novice Athletic Tall winner and Overall Athletic winner

lol @ maiseu being natty. I mean, we all understand the need to lie in this industry (and all other industries too I guess), but lmao.

You dont know anything. just like i dont know (and don't assume) anything about other people. If i had a hunch you were gay or a rapist or a ****phile or something i wouldnt start telling people you go around molesting kids. typical American logic, blurting **** out without any proof or facts. I would never go out of my way to call someone an idiot, but I can't help if if you just are - and you are.
Sayonara.Sincerely,

I just wanna know how to build incredible, almost surreal side and rear delts without sticking a pin in my body.
Clearly it's just a simple matter of working harder right? Every true natural I've ever met must be doing it wrong. In some cases, 20+ years of doing it wrong.Novice Athletic Tall winner and Overall Athletic winner

Pushing it to the limit...mother****er do you have angel tears in your oats? Is your pullup bar made of gold? Are your joints somehow extending past normal human limits? You're not a special snowflake, you're not the one pushing yourself while everyone else apparently goofs off.

You have got to be ****ting me. you're bluntly making up lies now. unless you have me confused with someone. I was born and raised in Belarus, where we have principles and stick to them.
You're not going to tell that one guy in the world book of Guinness records that it's not possible are you? I can see why pros don't come here, because of close minded individuals insinuating and insulting their work. You're natural? great buddy, I respect that a lot, but don't knock my **** because I got more size on you. Good luck to all of you in whatever y'all aspire to be, genuinely. Won't be seeing me much around here, I'll be the guy putting in work where in counts, rather on the keyboard and insult others for achieving things most can't.Sincerely,

Look, I like your physique and I appreciate you posting.
But don't you ****in dare to come in here and tell me that the thing separating guys like me and guys like you is work.
I'm almost 2 years older than you and I'm not one of those doe-eyed gym rats who will believe anything you say.
Good luck with your career, I sincerely mean that. Just don't expect to be treated with a lot of respect if you're going to perpetuate the lies.Novice Athletic Tall winner and Overall Athletic winner
