I haven't driven it yet, but I've heard that. My Si is only pushin 195hp to the wheels, that's enough power for me. I'm going to be starting a career in la enforcement, I don't need a turbo or anything to get me in any trouble haha. I just love the style of the BRZ.

If that's the case yeah they are fun to drive and stylish as a cruiser. I work at a local subaru dealership and have driven several they aren't bad to drive. I'm just used to more power that's all haha but the handling in the brz is very good as well.

Yea the FRS and BRZ were such a let down. Everybody who drives a toyota around my area(Altezza, Celica,Mr2,Supra) all thought it was a huge dissapointment. I know a few guys that bought them and just ripped off all the scion decals and put on toyota ones, haha. But yea, wait for a boosted one to come out. I was also dissapointed that they didn't keep the subaru rumble... I heard it's just the uneven headers, but still, that alone wood make me want to buy one.

Gotta realize though, the BRZ could be a start of something. Rumor has it possibly a STi model brz, who knows yet. And yes, all the rumble is unequal length headers. You actually lose a little bit of power rather than being equal length, but i'll take that sexy sound over that any day

It's actually not just because of the unequal length header, it's also because how the pistons sit. But the header has alot to due with it.

I only just started driving, only have my permit... But mainly a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee with a 3in exhaust. The engine has been bored and stroked from it's original 4.0 to a 4.6. 6 cylinder. And it has an after market cold air intake. Slight lift, with spacers and new tires soon. Also different aftermarket axles. And a ARB dif cover.

It's actually pretty zippy and fun to drive. All I have done to it is an intake and a tune. I want to add some mufflers for some more sound and eventually lower it with black wheels. Perhaps ad some brembo's too. I always keep it crazy clean.. Kind of anal about my cars.

Was it a bubble hatch? It seems everybody has those damn things, I don't like eg's or ef's honestly I was more a fan of ek's if anything. And a 3" exhaust on a non turbo car? Pretty overkill but the h22a4 that was in preludes is a pretty good swap in those cars.

H22 swap in a EG will instantly put them in the same league as a WRX/STi (low-mid 13's) and you'll probably have spent $4k both on the car and swap total, so not bad. H swaps were the closest someone could get to having a K swap before K swaps became super popular. More torque and HP than the B series, even the Type R's B18C. I think there is more aftermarket support and support for swaps in general for the EG thats why everyone chooses it. I never see H swaps in EF (late 80s) or EK (late 90s).

Also dyno results prove that full 3'' exhaust including a legit header actually leads to 6+whp increases in a H22. But most of that is in the higher RPM's. Trade off is a bit of torque loss in low end. 2.5'' is probably ideal, just as good of increases and little to no low end torque loss.
