So I want to get some huge ass traps like tom hardy has.
I'm on lyle's upper lower atm . my traps are getting worked from the deads and rows, and maybe some other exercises from the routine, idk .
To really see results, you need to put MASSIVE overload on the traps.
We’re going to accomplish that by doing a set of dumbell shrugs between EVERY single set of every workout you do…doesn’t matter if it’s back, chest, legs…whatever. In between EVERY set, you’re going to do a set of explosive shrugs with a moderately-heavy set of dumbells for about 8 to 10 reps (stay just short of failure and squeeze at the top of every rep).

what do you think ? same thing with the lats , I feel like they are really lacking , since I didn't trained my back very much in the first 2 months of training .
the article seems kinda retarded, but anyway, what If I add 4 sets of heavy shrugs in every other workout ? traps are a small group with fast recovery time afaik, like abs,calves and forearms .

When i was first starting out i would research and read articles on growing each body part, but it becomes apparent that all you are reading is - If you're serious about (This Muscle) Growth, than you must work them x times per week more. - Hit them with x volume. - Change your routine to fit x.
By the time i've done this i'd be doing ridiculous amounts of volume for each body part and training session.
My advice to you about growing traps would be to train them with 3 sets of shrugs on upper days. Then again feel free to complete the suggestion from the article, but i'd say 2-3x per week is enough for recovery etc..Current (KG)

Train them like any other muscle...
But hit them 3 times per week imo...
Mine starting growing now that I'm hitting them multiple times per week...
