Can't stop finding a way to fit pizzas into my daily calories crew checking in...
Also pulled a Serp today and unexpectedly ended up with a dog. It was either I keep her, or she was going to be put in a kill shelter (all the non kill shelters are full). The guy who gave her to me couldn't tell me much about her except that she's mixed with German Shepherd. Could tell in traces in her coat when I bathed her. Can't decide if the other half is pit...she has that pit look to her skull to me and is a common dog around these parts. Her brothers and sisters all leaned more toward the German Shepherd side. Well whatever she is, she's pretty to me and I like her already. Not sure if she's here to stay or if I'm going to try to find her a good home. We'll see...
Edit: oh yea, and I think she's around 4-5 months old, still a baby

Yea she does seem kind of big...she has a small frame though so don't know if she'll get too big. Might keep her...want to but we'll see what my man says. He's tolerating it for now lol.
And yes, I'm jealous...cannoli icecream??!! Looks like you're going to send me on another freezer aisle hunt through a few grocery stores lol.

Good for you on the dog adoption missladyj. Looks like a sweetie.
I am jollo of the cannoli, I haven't been able to find any here in PR from the limited run.
I had my heavy workout today, I really love my heavy days but I almost feel like I'm wasting my time with the medium and light days of all pro's routine despite knowing and understanding why it's written the way it is. It definitely gets challenging during the 11 and 12 rep weeks on all pro's but I'm tempted to run SS for a while just to see what it's like to really try to add weight to the bar to get my strength up. Definitely going to finish out this cycle before changing anything though.US Coast Guard ~ SEMPER PARATUS

Congrats on the dog lady j!
Went to work out today. Planet fitness apparently has a franchise fee if you don't go to your "normal" branch. Tried to charge me $10 to workout! I said no thx. Bummed to the max*LF Chat Crew

i tell ya hwut....
doing only the big 5 lifts heavy (5x3), then everything else a variant of 6-12 (like 6-10, 8-12) has been so good to me the past two months.
I used to do only 4-6 reps for nearly everything except abs and calves and have been making steady GAINZ in addition to getting my crap together as far as calories.
SS is good, but expect upper body to lag behind, i would say you probably wont see any size gains much without assistance work. You will get your squat up rapidly but only if you are in a surplus since you will peak out quickly if not in one.
Doing both heavy and higher reps are the best of both worlds IMO, this is from someone who was hesitant to go with higher reps too. There is always someone less fortunate, with real hunger, with real adversity, who made something of themselves. What is your excuse?

Yeah. Being a noob I'm antsy for dem gainz. I feel like if I'm "bulking" and only really going hard once a week, with two days that feel fairly easy and four rest days, like I'm really not going as hard as I should be.
I like all pro's, I think it's pretty hard to come up with a better set of exercises for the full body. It just feels like a very slow process - I feel like I should be squatting 200+ for reps (today I did 165x10x2). It's written to be a slow process, though, and I've done very well getting all my programmed reps.US Coast Guard ~ SEMPER PARATUS

Thank you Serp Right now my routine is 1270 calories a day and walking. I also do IF mostly because I'm not hungry during the day and reducing my meals to just one main one gives me less of a chance to make mistakes. I have a very unhealthy relationship with food (obviously, lol) and I can't trust myself to make good decisions the entire day... btw I am a sis.

Thanks tupper and confewzed
She finally got comfortable enough around me to go to sleep...
*Notice the scar on her forehead (has smaller ones sprinkled around muzzle)..spent her whole life in a backyard with brothers and sisters. Never been in a house before. Doesn't seem like they were cared for much at all! She was hella dirty and shy...got her to eat some chicken and she perked up a bit. Very chill dog so far...she checked out the house a bit and spent the majority of the time sticking close to me. Will be running her by the vets as soon as Holidays are up.Last edited by missladyj; 12-23-2012 at 05:02 PM.

Of course...that's one of the most important things. She's kept separate until I really know her. My kids are always watched and play within a huge pen in the middle of their room, I'm confident that nothing will have the chance to happen. Have had dogs throughout my life, am comfortable enough to judge their personality, and even fight one if I have too. Was bit as a kid, won't let it happen to mine.

I highly recommend Valentini Mango ice cream.
Touch of sugar sweetness, mostly creamy, with an aftertaste that hits mango right on the head. Really smooth texture as well.
Edit: Good luck finding it though.
Edit2: Fuk, I could honestly only eat this ice cream for the rest of my life. No other flavors.

Ahahaha *******s. It's lower Florida only.
Edit4:
Would buy.Last edited by moore93; 12-23-2012 at 05:24 PM.
