    Wearing gloves

My hands get pretty sweaty when I'm at the gym so it's hard to grip weights especially when I do rack pulls, so I'm considering getting some gloves

My question is will wearing gloves damage grip strength gains and/or forearm hypertrophy?

I just don't understand why you think that gloves will somehow damage your grip strength. I don't know what kind of gloves you want to get, but the gloves I have don't grip the weight for me, I am still using my forearms to do ALL of the gripping. Gloves don't grip the weight for you. So it won't affect it at all.

The gym I use is very modern and clean, I don't know for certain but I highly doubt they allow people to use chalk. I've never seen anyone use it here.

    Sneak the chalk in.

Use a small plastic bag and hide it your pocket. Clean everything once you've finished...

I use liquid chalk, works pretty much the same way if not better, pretty cheap considering how long a bottle lasts

I dunno, I guess I thought that because it makes it easier to grip you don't need to work the muscle as much or something

Liquid chalk is your best bet, never really makes a mess, much prefer that to gloves.

Put powdered chalk in a white sock and tie one end. Depending on the thickness of a sock, you can put chalk all over both your palms in <10 secs.
