Yeah now that the west Bay of Alexander is 25 minutes from my house I'm going to become a crappie catching machine!
Only hitch is with the awesome spring we had there is going to be an EPIC forage base out there this year... My psychic left elbow tells me that this is going to be an ice season with a state wide poor bite!
However there is probably some walleye hope for Mille Lacs, that 07 year class was massive and they should be in the slot by now!

It was a cool, crisp morning. The type of morning a hunter only dreams about....blah, blah, blah. J/K
I had seen a couple earlier in the morning, but so foggy couldn't even see them in the scope. About 10 AM two does/fawns were coming out of the woods to my left. This was the same area the buck had come from Sat. I raised my gun to check if I could now get a shot through some of the areas I had cut. I set my gun back and watched these 2 some more. In a bit I looked up on the hill to my rt about 150 yards and saw "big deer", glassed him and knew he was a shooter. Hit him w/ a doe bleat and he looked my way. He then headed down the hill to an area I couldn't see. Hit a few grunts and picked up my gun. He was either coming my way or heading out of Dodge. I heard him grunt, then saw him, stopped him, shot him. He only went about 20 yards up the hill and then slid back down. I sure wish he hadn't lost those 2 tines. My current log

A step backwards is better than a setback.
If this (insert whatever trivial thing that is upsetting me) is the worst thing to happen today, I'm going to have a great day.

Speaking of which... I awared Fitty on this via text... But I'm working on a New Ad Campaign in Ohio... JUST started it... If it goes well Ohio will be added to my region, and while I won't be out there in 2013 with the baby and all, I'd end up basically in Fitty's back yard for a 7-10 day stint sometime in either spring or fall of 2014!

HOLY MOTHER OF GOD!
I attempted to take music from a CD to my Laptop then E-mail it to my smart phone so I could import it into my MP3 play list.
You guys know me and the technomotry side of things.
So I straight up expected one of these appliances to just straight up explode like R2D2 having butt sex with a toaster oven. I'll be damned but everything worked flawlessly the first time!
Now I can listen to it while I'm doing it!

We had one guy who was a total stain on human values (Corporate life seems to attract those types) and his mentality was "Why should I screw up my own computer which costs me money, when the work one doesn't.
Then he tried explaining that he was only DL-ing porn on his lunch break.
Ironically the boss never busted him, because the boss and the CFO were the two worst offenders in the building.
He eventually quit before they could fire him.
And I just found out last week that my old boss sold the entire agency and all it's holdings to my old arch nemesis "SuperBiotch."6'4"

No sooner I mention this, the other user of the two came in and she can't find some files she worked on last month. *sigh*
I've STILL not gotten out for the flounder run. I hope I don't miss it.
Peeps are killing them on chicken boy lures down here, red & white. http://shop.chickenboylures.com/Chic...-Lures_c23.htm

I've caught some specks on them, those lures are tough some have caught dozens of fish on one lure. There's a guy who claims to have over 200 fish on a single lure. He posted pics of it and it's shredded with tooth marks all over it but it's still in good shape and the tail portion is still intact. I quit using Gulp because I can't keep the hardheads off of it, even if I work it fast. edit: I like the holographic pink, but chicken on a chain, cock of the bay, and bloody mary seem to be popular with others. There's a 25% off coupon right now, "victory" but dunno when it ends. I'm waiting for bloody mary to come out in 3" size, they have it in stores but haven't updated the website.

Yeeee-Yeee-Yeee!
Someone call the Turtleman!
I just saw my first Minnesotan Possum!
I heard they lived up here but were super rare...
Then this big bastard wandered up to my office window.
Followed it around the house snapped some crappy ass blurry pictures... Looked like it was hurt.
Maybe I should go hand catch it?6'4"

Mayby Nainoa could skin it? American opposum skin have become a very popular hairwing material for the tubeflies we use for Atlantic Salmon fishing over here!
