    Looking good in a week.

I've been lifting for about a month now, I really love my progress so far. Started out skinnyfat, I'm nowhere near my goals, but at least now I have a lot more definition and am on my way to ottermode.

Anyway, I have an event in a little over a week that I want to look my absolute best at. I've been working out doing the basic 5x5 sticky, three days a week.

Now I know you can't expect miracles in such a short time, it takes a lot of work to get anywhere. But is there anything I can do in this next week to get me looking my best before the event, even if it's just temporary? Should I skip my rest periods and work out every day? Work out less? Do more cardio? Do different workouts? Shed water weight? Change my diet (currently; eat everything)? Is there anything I can do to lower bloating from dairy and foods like that?

To get an idea of what I look like, check the most recent progress pic on my BodySpace. I've gotten a bit more muscle definition since then, and look a lot more pale.

I'll try to get a tan, never done it before. Worst case scenario I'll go to a spray tan place I guess.

    You mean something like this?

Thanks for the advice, I'll definitely give it a shot. Will this hurt my bulking much?

A little work-out before it maybe, to get your muscles pumped and looking bigger.

eat a lot of asparagus to drop water weight around your midsection (it acts as a diuretic), lower your carbs for 2-3 days and then load up the day before the event. have a little extra sodium the day of too as it will help you appear more vascular and full.

a tan will do wonders as well

a pump generally does not stick around for more than 30 minutes of inactivity. it wont help
