Jeeeeez, T, that 385 pull looked easy. Nice job. Is there any reason you only use one 45 pound plate on your deads? Is it just ease of adding/removing plates or do you like less contact with the ground?

Notes
* End of recovery week 1 (recovering from the heavy loading in the program I ran in my supplement log). Next week is a little heavier on all lifts, but still not close to any maxes.
* The only interesting thing about this workout was that I got to wear my new Tommy Kono knee sleeves for squats, and they were awesome! My knees were kept very warm and they sweated a little, but not to the degree that online reviews had made it out to be. In between the squat sets, I just flipped down the top half of the sleeves to get some air, and that helped a lot. My left knee, the one giving me trouble lately, felt great all night.
The consensus on these sleeves is that they don't contribute to your squat poundages; they're there to protect your knees and keep them warm. I think they contribute in an indirect way, because they boost the lifter's confidence. During warmups, everything felt light because I wasn't thinking about my left knee on every rep, possibly unknowingly favoring it and hindering my power production. With that worry out of the way, I was free to concentrate on form and technique, and that made a huge difference. I would go so far as to say that my left knee definitely limited my squatting progress near the tail end of my supplement log, because I was afraid to push the envelope with it.
I recorded the last squat set of 365x4. I was supposed to only do 365x3 but the reps were easy, so I added one more. I left 2-3 reps in the tank, which would easily have made this squat set my best ever by far. The evidence is inconclusive based on only one workout, but it certainly looks likely that my progress was held up by the bum knee.
As shown in the video, my first squat was only to legal PL depth. I went lower and lower on each subsequent squat

No hurry bro ... This journal, like me, gets better with age
No supp log, no journal, what's there to brag about?
I've been enjoying coconut pineapple or mint chocolate chip ice cream almost every night. On the way to dreamer bulk status.
Hey bro! Was wondering where you'd gone after the G-Fuel review## chillin at home crew
