Cars - Someone please explain to me what a $50,000 car does that a $20,000 car doesn't? Both get you from point A to point B, correct?

However with furniture, you usually pay for what you get.
If you get cheap stuff it could fall apart within 5 years, whereas if you were to buy more expensive stuff not only will it last longer but it will usually look better as well.

I understand if you have the money and getting a more expensive car. But I have a 2012 Fusion and it has the same things in it a 50k Mercedes does. Blind spot notification system, leather, rearview camera, surround sound system, navigation system.

I value experiences much more than possessions. I can understand sports cars because I know some people get a rush out of driving them, but luxury cars I don't get. I would spend the 22k on a couple awesome vacations/trips.

I was actually planning on buying a TV Season of show I watch in blu-ray (would take forever to torrent). The blu-ray would of cost 49$ before tax, at least 55$ after. I just couldn't bring myself to do it, felt like I would be pissing away money.

looked up the price online and they're selling the same Season for 14.99$ brand new on eBay (blu-ray). Would probably of gotten that if I hadn't already torrented the dvd of the season already...
