So as I mentioned I skipped my deload week and jumped right into Cycle number 3.
Another important note. I'll be going on a mini vacation from 10/5-10/8. I'm hoping to keep my eating as normal as possible but we all know when on vacation that's impossible.
I'm just glad i'll be able to get my normal training in this week, lets get right to it.
9/30/2012
Cycle 3, Wave 1, OHP 5x5+
New OHP training max = 136lbs
*Upper body dynamic warm up
Warm up sets
Barbell x5, x5
40%x5, 50%x5, 60%x3 of my training max
Working sets
90x5, 100x5, 115x7
*I wanted to get 8 reps and tried but just couldn't get that bish up. No biggie cause I felt good with 7 and all reps were explosive.
DB seated shoulder press
*I felt bad for hogging up the power rack and knew this guy was waiting for me to be done to work in some squats. I just went ahead and moved to some DB presses.
40x10, 40x10, 40x10, 40x8
*My shoulders were done on the 4th set. They were pumped and on fire so I was content with 4 sets.
DB side laterals
15x15, 15x12
*Did these just for the fuk of it lol
JM press
30x10, 40x8
Tate press
25x10, 25x10
Chin ups
5, 5, 5, 5, 6, 8, 4= 38
*I used my Big Back Grips I ordered and man these were awesome. I didn't have to worry about my grip or think about it giving out. I was able to concentrate on the pull and really felt good doing chin ups with these.
Overall it was a great workout today. I felt strong and glad I decided to skip this deload. Tomorrow is my deadlift day and i'll get some footage of that and also footage of my front squats.

work load looked really solid man, i'd be happy w/ 7 as well. for some reason 5+ is my hardest week

No not yet. I tested out the no carbs for an entire two days and man I'm an ******* with no carbs man. I started a bunch of BS arguments with my wife for no apparent reason lol. i think what I might do is just push my carbs to post training and see how that works. I just can't go with out carbs man lol.
