^This FTW
I lol at people questioning someone's natural status... Regardless of what you believe, there's no way to disprove the claim unless you randomly test. Ironically I would bet that Phil Heath could probably pass a drug test given enough notice.
I personally don't doubt for a second that Alex is natural. He's 20yrs old, in the peak of his natural hormone production, and regardless of what ANYONE thinks this thread is not about "natty or not", this is a workout journal. Alex has been a HUGE source of motivation to many of us who frequent this thread, including myself. I for one will always be following"The weak-minded would shrink away from what must be done for fear of being ridiculed by the wicked" - Terry Goodkind

...WELL
First of all, this is the last time I will say it as I've answered it dozens of times in emails, in this log, and made a video on it...I am not on any steroid, pro-hormone or whatever other drug you can think of. I am natural...the only drug I'm on is a drug called Alex Kikel...Charlie sheen reference
Those of you who accuse people of anything will never achieve greatness in any endeavor in your life simply because of your mindset. This log as well as my videos, is done to inspire others and show whats possible with hard work...not only in bodybuilding but in every aspect of life. My mother, father, brother, and sister are all the hardest workers I've ever known...I try my best to keep up with their hardwork and will never give anything less than 1,000% of myself to anything I do.
To everyone who supports me, thank you so much! It is so unbelieveably appreciated and if you ever need ANYHTING, do not hesitate to contact me!
To everyone who hates me, THANK YOU TOO! No matter if you hate me or love me (homo), I use that as even MORE fuel for me to achieve my goals!
Stay tuned for my next offseason vlog where I'll talk about my future bodybuilding competitive goals...plan on competing is both tested and non-tested and have some big goals! Will get into more detail in the video!

edit:
It reminds me of people who will say..
DOUG MILLER not NATTY..
but I would like to see ONE person do 10 sets of 475 x 10 deadlifts before saying that ****.
Just because people are afraid to eat togrow , and train intense as possible....they believe it isn't possible.Last edited by AntoineDufour; 05-16-2013 at 05:39 AM.

Awesome Alex. I think the best part of what you said was "this is the last time."
One of the similarities I see between my faith and fitness journey is that there are always a few people (who have the loudest voices, too, it seems) that always question what you do and why you do it; or they give you "advice" on how to do it better or a more "right way."
It is hard not to hear them, but I like what you said about that fueling you on. I agree brother, and look forward to some awesome things from you!
But really dude, do you even lift?Journal: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=175642411

I dunno what you guys are even talking about.
No offence Alex, but those legs are nothing. I've seen bigger quads on elementary school children.
j/k
But I just know he's never happy and always wants more, so maybe that can help fuel the fire.
In all seriousness, the progress you have made is nothing short of incredible. I'm not surprised people are questioning.
I've seen a lot of transformations on here as well as in real life (natty and not natty) and you're near the top. Both for strength and size gains.

^^This for sure. I've seen some people make some awesome transformations on here, but over the course of years and not months. I know if I was in Alex's shoes I would be even more motivated than before (if that's even possible) given all the attention to the progress he made.

sort of.....but hes made the gains that has taken you 3+ years in only 6 months.
Its just impressive results, people will question it. Anyone who has worked hard in the gym for a while and knows the gains are slow, and they see this, they question it.
Some people maybe are just gifted for it more than others.
Either way, hes made some gainszzzz, all kinds of gainsszz.

lets look at Ryan Doris, Layne Norton, Tommy Jeffers, Ben Goins, Kurt Weidner, Doug Miller.
These guys bust their asses day in and day out and make incredible gains.
I could go on and on with the list,

and as most people know who are "deep in the sport" you shut your mouth and play ball, believe people are natural and keep pedaling your supplements and sponsors.
Feel free to be naive and believe in all your natural idol's, I've heard it countless times from people defending their favorite sports star who's been disqualified for PED's, they all shut up quick when the evidence comes out and then they move onto the next one.
For those who think it's not a good business strategy, you have someone making huge gains, perhaps more than you. He's natural and your natural too, but he's making huge gains and is taking all these nice new supplements. You've put on a bit of muscle but your gains have slowed right down. You start to think hey, I'm training really hard why aren't I getting all these gains, it must be my genetics, or maybe it's because I'm not taking my BCAA's postworkout and not taking my Craze and downing protein shakes??
$100's of dollars later and they haven't made noticable gains and they get even more frustrated and just keep moving on to that "new product" in the search for the same results.
C'mon guys it's not like I'm a jelly no-lift hater.

Honestly I don't give a **** if the guy is natural or not. To be super honest I've had a few beers as I am done with my last semester at school so take it as you will.
It doesn't matter if the guy is natural or not. Whether you take "super supps" or not you still have to train hard and diet right or you won't see any results. This kid here knows what he is doing. He works work hard and eats right.
Has what Phil Heath accomplished mean nothing because he takes a little extra supplementation in his day? No. He works harder than any of us do day in and day out to be where he is.
If you take a look at the top natural bbers vs the top IFBB pros there are a few things in common, they lift hard and diet right. If you want to take away someones hard work because they take really good supps then you are just being jealous.
And as I said earlier, Alex's results are not supernatural or unbelievable. He is 20 years old and was 145 lbs stage weight... he had a lot of freaking room for growth. Nowhere near his natty limit. Combine that with his training and diet and you gt crazy results. So either enjoy the log or shut up and quit following.
Theres my rant. BoomMy new bulking log. http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=146899443&p=926377483#post926377483

The kid was 145lbs Stage Weight!
How much do you think he weighed before he dieted? 165/170?
It's not like the kid has put on 50lbs of muscle this year. He got back to baseline, and then added 25ish lbs. is that really so hard to believe in a year? Really?
The kid eats 1,000g of carbs once a week and probably close to 650 the rest of the damn week. I would bet he is holding steady at 4,400-4,500 cals/day. You can't gain 25 in 10 months eating that? While training 6 days a week consistently.
Not to mention he runs stuff that's just stupid. Like the combo of Smolov AND Smolov for bench at the same time, on top of other training at the same time. Let's toss in some DUP and the countless other absurd training programs, and here we are asking if the kid is juicing.
Yeah, he has maintained a relatively low bodyfat through this, and why is that? Cuz he's not an idiot eating everything in sight while bulking. He's controlling his intake and he understands his body a fair amount. His delts and upper chest are getting striated as hell. You do side DB Laterals with 70s, 80s, and 90s, and I bet you get a little separation as well.
Yeah, we can sit here and talk about his horrific form of 7 plate T-Bar Rows, or how you can't/shouldn't lateral 90lb DBs, but at the end of the day...the kid works HARD. I'm honestly not shocked.
He's young, driven, and lives for gainz.
Now, if you ask me how long I think the kid can keep the pedal to the floor like this...That, is an entirely different question. (Dorian comes to mind about leaving it all, too much, too often. Ask him today how he views training, and it's like a whole different person.)
And there is no reason to idolize anyone, natural or not. Honestly, I don't care whether some is enhanced or not. I can appreciate hard work, dedication, focus, and drive. So, whether you're a top tier pro in any organization, or some guy in the corner of your local Gold's with his hood up covered in sweat, I can respect WORK. That's why I love Alex, it isn't cuz he's natural or not, but because the kid is a fkng Monster."The code of Bushido is harsh and relentless."
