You know, I really didn't know beeewbs was AKR. My thread was just a joke response to beeewbs thread with an identical title about a different miscer. Had I known he would have been banned for it I would not have made the thread.

I, like you, don't want to see anyone banned. And while beeewbs/AKR and I had our differences, at least we were always able to have rational, mutually respectable conversations. I truly am sorry for my actions. We lost a great poster yesterday. She will be missed.

hmmm IP checks are never 100% accurate. I'd have to see the evidence myself but having administered forums for years I never took just that alone as sufficient evidence for a ban. They definitely had unique posting styles.

hmmm IP checks are never 100% accurate. I'd have to see the evidence myself but having administered forums for years I never took just that alone as sufficient evidence for a ban. They definitely had unique posting styles.

With most isp's, ip checks are accurate for up to about 6 month periods. Usually most isp's will reassign a new ip to a user about every 6 months or so
