So the time has come to create my first ever log. Whooo hooo! I plan on keeping track of my diet, training, regular activities, might throw in some videos of me doing random stuff, and I might even post food pron. Who knows?
Basically I started the NSTC (Nutmisc Summer Transformation Challenge) on May 23, 2012 so figured this is a good way to keep track of my progress and lifting videos. I WILL be posting progress pics here and on my bodyspace along with other random pics.
Basic Info:
Real name- Brittany
Current age- 22
Stat History and Current Stats:
Bodyfat senior year in high school (2008)- 34%
Bodyfat January 2012- 25%
Current bodyfat:- 20%
Goal by the end of this challenge (August)- 17%
Current diet/macros:
At a 20% caloric deficit from my 2,000 maintenance calories. 1,600 calories a day P/C/F look like 145/140/50 (10 cal to spare) but thinking about tweaking something here shortly.
Anyway, I'm open to advice by all means and any tips. I'll be posting a lot of form check vids so feel free to chime in. You should also know that I've only been lifting for almost 4 months now so still pretty new. Let me know if I forgot to mention anything important. Enjoy!

So I do plan on posting my macros as shown on MyFitnessPal but the middle button on my iPhone isn't working for me to take the screen shot. Darn. I'll have to do it when my phone is fixed but sadly, I did not hit my macros today had way too many carbs and not enough protein. Oh well! Maybe tomorrowPatience, dedication, drive.

So I usually train at night so excuse the late update!
Dear log,
Good news for today; HR called me into the office and told me I officially start my job on May 29th (I've been a temp since October) so I was super excited. Can you say, "pay raise?" Also got the keys to my apartment yesterday so feeling pretty awesome right now.
Here goes:
Deadlift
Warm up set light weight
95 x 10 x 1
115 x 6 x 3
95 x 6 x 1
BB Rows
60 x 10 x 3
Dumbbell Rows
30 x 10 x 3
Lat Pulldowns
60 x 10 x 1
70 x 4 x 1
60 x 6 x 2
Weighted Hyperextensions
25 x 10 x 3
Weight x reps x sets
Ran 2.2 miles afterwards
Still really trying to work on my deadlift form and it doesn't help that my left knee has been hurting for at least a month now. I've been doing deadlifts for about 2 months and was at 135 but I've had a few people tell me to lower the weight and focus on form.
Here's me doing 135 a couple weeks ago May 8, 2012 (horrible!)
This is from tonight. So sorry for the bad angle!
Don't know if much better but I know my hips were rising too fast before.Last edited by MiscDemeanor; 05-26-2012 at 04:25 AM.
