White rice is fine, however I eat brown rice because it has much more fibre, and it fills me up more so I'm not so hungry during the day.

Brown rice would be better. twice the manganese and phosphorus of white.
    2.5 times the iron.
    3 times the vitamin B3.
    4 times the vitamin B1.
    10 times the vitamin B6.

there is no reason to avoid it other than the simple carbs of white rice which digest faster vs the complex carb brown rice that doesnt digest right away and turn into fat.

Yes, white rice is fine. Just don't go over your calorie limit. I prefer brown rice because I like the taste and texture more.

Any type of calorie will turn into fat if you eat more than your maintenance. It doesn't matter if it comes from ice cream, cheeseburgers, chicken breasts, or lettuce...

I tried to eat brown rice once, and almost vomited. No amount of salt or soy sauce can fix it.

Not to mention that I have never seen a package of rice that wasn't fortified, so it shouldn't be that much of a nutritional gap. Also takes forever to cook.

ram in ass for optimal gains !
Ka0s :In my experience, doing heavy barbell squats, bench presses, deadlifts, military presses, rows, etc. builds no significant muscle mass.
What you need to really get big is a solid routine which focuses on light weights and cable movements to really force blood into those muscles and get that deep burn & powerful contraction

Brown rice is for people with about as much excitement in their life as a priest. I eat food not because of what's in it or how "healthy" it is but because I enjoy it and I like to use my taste buds for what they are there for. If I'm just gonna sit and eat a plate of brown rice every day why the **** do I have taste buds? Give me white rice any day as long as they fit my macros, I'll get all my vitamins in a pill thanks.
    I always rep back.
