Bench Day
Bench 87.5kg x 5, 97.5kg x 3, 107.5kg x 1+(4)
DB Seated OHP 2 x 10, 1 x 7
Bench Rows 3 x 8
DB Shrugs 2 x 12 BB Shrugs 1 x 12
Tricep Extension 3 x 10
DB Curls 3 x 10
was REALLY tired all today since sleeps been a bit of an issue - but i just got so full of energy before this! was quite happy with 4, was actually expecting 5 but i just couldnt quite lock out on that last rep (its the closest ive ever been to locking out without being successful) which was irritating. hoping i get 5 next 1+ week with 110kg, then ill bump it up 5kg for the next cycle. really appreciating all the support im getting from you brahs - its an awesome feeling.
oh and if youre wondering about the shrugs, i have a weak wrist which im sure i mentioned earlier in this log. whenever i do DB Shrugs, the dumbbell seems to like slip in my hand (because of my wrist im fairly certain) and like dig into my wrist which makes me have to let go and causes alot of pain, so i just swapped over to BB for the last set
haha we'll just have to wait and see what happens brother

Have you been eating the same amount of calories from the start of your bulk till now? And how much weight are you aiming to gain a week and a month? I've started my 5/3/1 bulk this monday eating around 2800 cals and my weight has been swinging from 76,9 to 76,7 kg. I think i should bump cals to 3000 ?

Squat Day
Squat 90kg x 5, 100kg x 5, 110kg x 3
Standing Leg Curl 3 x 8
Leg Extension 3 x 10
Calf Raise 3 x 12
Ab Work
well i worked all the way up to 80-85% of my 5rm and to be honest it wasnt too painful at all. the last 2 reps of 110kg were a struggle to be honest, and i dont know if thats because im not used to squatting or the injury restricting me. regardless, pain wasnt bad at all everything else went well too - but i cant wait to give 100% with concerning myself with moving the weight rather than the injury. looking forward to seeing how deads go on wednesday too. was happy with the session today, was worried i wouldnt be able to get 100kg haha.

FUKC. this was ****. been under a fair bit of stress and bull**** but workouts should not be suffering. this shouldve been 8. will make up for it in future sessions, in the mean time ive got physio tomorrow which should tell me when ill be back into business for legs lets hope sooner rather than later

Deadlift Day
Deadlift 100kg x 5, 120kg x 4, 140kg x 1
Leg Press 3 x 240kg x 9
Leg Extension 2 x 12
Hamstring Curls 2 x10
Calf Raise 3 x 12
well thats up another 40kg! it was only by 1 rep because i couldnt do the next one, it wasnt painful just my hamstring wouldnt allow it like other times. was happy with this - even leg press was decent everything else went well too. hamstring is feeling better and better each day, can free squat without any pain.

schools not bad, exams in week 2 of next term which is ridiculously early so study has to start early
