Hey lookie --- a workout!!!
ARMS
Cable Hammer Curls
60 x 10
70 x 10
80 x 6
90 x 4-----up in weight and reps
90 x 4
Incline Curls

Our weights jump from 20 to 25 pounds and I cannot rep out 25 pounds. I can do partials, but not full reps. I don't know if I should just keep doing partials to build up the strength to do full reps, or if I should get off the incline, or maybe switch this up to concentration curls.....thoughts anyone?

Ugh at LA Fitness
There is this total jerk that works out at my gym that I just cannot stand. I don't even know this guy, but he bugs the hell out of me....and everyone else in the immediate area. This dude must be in his early 20s and makes sure everyone knows he's "in da house".....banging weights, grunting loudly, prancing around talking on his cell phone, this guy actually jumps off the bench after lifting and does this "woot woot" dance all around....oh yeah, totally annoying.
I hadn't seen this guy for a while, until tonight. He was making such a scene that I was half tempted to walk over to him and tell him to go fuk himself, but he's so full of himself, I figured he was already doing that...........

Nice workout!
That would be SOO annoying. Luckily I don't see anyone like that at my gym.
Not sure about the curls, I'd probably do the partials. Curious to see what other peeps have to say...

I don't know what most of those exercises are, but I do understand being frustrated by lack of progress. Are there exercises you can do that would strengthen the assist muscles or are you already doing that.
The video made me cry. I am such a milksop! Also, I am a firm believer in the words we choose as being the matrix of our reality.

Hey...I had just seen mention of cake and got excited...my bad...
And I'll answer your inc DB curl question and actually contribute something useful [hopefully]. Have you thought about doing a rack run for your last set? Do what you can with the 25# and the do like 5 to 6 reps of all the lower weights and a burn out with the lightest? These have helped me get my delt raise #s up. That or either do all your reps with the 20s and just keep adding more reps at the end of each set util you can increase to the 25s. That's how I used to do it before I discovered drop sets and rack runs.Coming out of "retirement"...Meg is training for a Figure competition...again!!!

* Have you ever tried 21's using the 20's, standing of course., these help get past plateau's or sticking points in my opinion + the burn is painfully good.
* Also, do you do your incline curls one arm at a time or both together?
* Try leaning/incline spider curls too, with your swooshie-chest on incline bench leaning over, u vs gravity..u will win.
These are great too.

I like!! I haven't done rack runs in a while.....not sure why, because I've always liked doing them. I think I need to get off the incline too. I'm pretty sure I could rep a few 25s either standing or sitting upright.
Thanks, Meg!
Good point. I've done BB curl 21s to bust out of a plateau, so this would be a good option too
I do them together. I've tried doing one-arm while spotting with my other hand, but it's an awkward position. That works pretty well on my concentration curls though.
Have you seen Swooshie's chest???
Do you think these hit the biceps differently then spider curls?
Hiya, beatha! I'm excited about the rack runs. I think I'm going to try those first.
That's cupcake to you, young lady.......and, yes, P keeps saying cake.......stop itCaring about what people think of you is useless. Most people don't even know what they think of themselves.
