I'm never one to bitch and whine about the refs... but c'mon, today was ridiculous.
From the 1st quarter BS TD to Tate, to the ref setting a screen for Riddick, to the hold on McPhee on the bomb to Calvin... and it seemed like half of our big runs were called back by holding.

Officiating was horrid yesterday, however they had many chances to seal that game and could not convert. In the red zone 4 damn times and come away with 1TD. Also, the conservative play calling late in the 4th trying to kill clock and then trying to just get in FG range in OT. WTF was Gase doing yesterday? Some of the worst play calling I have ever seen. Looked like Trestman's team out there all over again. Your run game had been **** all day, and you decide to run 3 straight times when all you had to do was get in FG range? ****!

Ratliff's contract terminated? I'm hearing he got escorted out by the cops? This should be interesting...

Evidently Ratliff and the GM had an 'animated exchange.'

Sounds like that firefighter story is true.
Former Chicago Bears defensive lineman Jeremiah Ratliff made death threats and claimed to be the devil during multiple visits to team headquarters on Oct. 21, according to the report released Friday by the Lake Forest Police Department.
Ratliff showed up at Halas Hall in no condition to work on the morning of Oct. 21, multiple people familiar with the situation have said. After Ratliff was sent home, the Bears decided to cut the four-time Pro Bowler.
After Ratliff was informed of his release, he returned to team headquarters, parked outside the security gate and came onto the property on foot, saying he needed to gather his belongings.
According to the police report, Ratliff at one point said “he felt like killing everybody in the building.”
Ratliff left with his belongings without further incident. However, he returned to Halas Hall a short time later, saying he needed to retrieve his cell phone, according to the report. During that visit, he said, “I am the devil” and that he “wished staff member’s children would die.”
The Bears asked Ratliff to leave the property and not return. They called police to request additional security, partly because they believed Ratliff owns multiple firearms, the report says.TeeHeeZzzZzz

Hoping for the W. Also, why is Forte on the block? I admit after the 0-3 start, I said trade him because he deserves to be on a winner (i said cowboys and now they are done though dez is back). But now I wanna keep him and think the bears can get to the playoffs next year. If they had beat the crappy azz lions last week, id be more optimistic for this year, but we will see how they do against the vikings today.

Cutty etching his name all over the Bear's record book. Huge milestone to tie Luckman on the TD record. Definitely can't complain too much about him this year so far, completing over 60% of his passes, 87.5 QBR, 8 TDs and 4 picks. 1-12 against the Packers is obviously terrible though. Jay is hard to figure out...one minute he is completing a perfect laser or touch pass for a TD and the next drive he throws a terrible pick off his back foot. This year he does not seem to be forcing as many throws though. Without him out there the Bears can't even compete at all. Hopefully he can continue to improve under the new coaching staff.
Do you think there is still hope for Jay to be the long term QB or is he just not the guy?Last edited by chibb1122; 11-03-2015 at 07:00 AM.

Another good game for Cutler. Pretty solid season so far...almost 1800 yards, completing 63% of his passes, 2-1 TD to Int. ratio, almost a 90 QBR. In Gase we trust. There have been so many O coordinators in Cutler's time here, hopefully Gase sticks around because his system seems to be working well. I know there's a lot of what ifs but once the team gets healthy there is some real potential.
More food for thought.....Cutler's 12 game winning, 4th quarter TD drives are the most in the league since '09.Last edited by chibb1122; 11-10-2015 at 08:19 AM.

Bears **SHOULD** be 5-3 right now, but good teams find a way to win, and the bears choked away the games against the Lions and Vikings. This team has a nice future though once White gets healthy and we improve the defense.

Langford is looking very promising. Think he has potential to be a top 5 RB in the league with 2-3 years. As much as I like and respect Forte, I hope they let him walk and start revamping the defense further. Dude is gonna be 30 next year and has so much mileage on him, it's nowhere but downhill for him unfortunately.
As much as I hate Cutler, we can win with him if he keeps playing like this and minimizing mistakes.
