went to the bank today, teller was about 18-20yo...obviously new. Asked her if i could withdraw $400 dollars from my checking account. Filled the slip out and she gave me my $400 and I left.
Went to best buy to buy some shiz, opened wallet and took out $100 dollars to pay and when i took it out, there was another $100 stuck to it!
I then pulled out the rest of my money and i had $600 instead of the original $400
Checked my account via online and it says i have a $400 withdrawal instead of $600
what do now?
EDIT: called the bank up, asked the manger a hypothetical question about the situation. She said either way he/she would be fired if i brought the money back in or if I didnt. any error of that size is case for dismissal. Said it was still up to me if i wanted to return it or not but no repercussion will be had on my behalf. The bank will just write it off as teller error.
