you talk about peoples pride but just look at your sig. lulz.. oh and the term hardcore means hardcore punk. hardcore comes from punk. bleeding through is metalcore. i remember them being metalcore when you were dancing to the backstreet boys in yo poopy drawers..

What I said about his pride is true, why else would he say two bands using the same techniques don't sound similar? If I found out the tremolo riff in the song I posted was a carbon copy of a riff from a BM band's song he'd say it was BM when they did it.

its not really though, its a form of EDM, not a direct sub genre of trance like say tech-trance is. hardtrance would be a sub-genre of trance. but thats besides the point. The point I was making, which still stands with the trance/hardstyle analogy (both sub genres of EDM) and the black metal/metalcore (both sub genres of metal) is that just because two artists share qualities which tie them to their overall genres - blasts and trem picking for metal, repetitive melodies etc for EDM - you can't say that because they have these qualities, they are influenced by X genre. Bleeding through are quite painfully obviously not black metal influenced.

-Shrieking high pitched vocals

You could also ask someone to name the genre I am describing when I say "****gy heartbreak lyrics, bro-screams, harmonic minor staccato riffs and generic blast beats" you would probably think of metalcore, which is exactly what bleeding through are.

Strong avoiding my question. You know those are the key elements of BM and BT contains those elements(which for some reason you deny). I never said BT was a BM band I said they contained its key elements. I think you misunderstood me and thought I was saying BT were BM which I wasn't. I listen to alot of Metalcore (no homo) and BT are the only band I listen to that contains Blast Beats, Tremolo Picking and Shrieking Vocals (aka Black Metal's key elements) which is why I said what I said. I also don't get why you are trying to tear down what music I listen to it's pointless, did you not see my OP? Bon Jovi is are my top 5 bands there is nothing more you can say.
