they are. eternity is an abstract cosmic entity, considered the personification of all time (eternity).

generally you only see characters like eternity, living tribunal, etc. when there is a major cosmic event going on that is a universal or higher threat.

I made a mistake. It's supposed to be Pre-reckoned. They changed the power levels of the Beyonder. But that situation was a sort of crisis too.

you can argue the beyonder is > TOAA because he is technically not part of the marvel universe.

both are omnipotent, they would stalemate eachother. omnipotent characters cant be beaten no matter how strong the other character(s) are.

to make it simple, he's "god", from another existence. not close to god, not jesus, not some greek/norse god, straight up god
which means he would shit on thanos, galactus, superboy prime, brolly (lol), dr manhattan, LT, or any other comic character you can think of without a thought.

basically he was such a bullshit they ret-con'd him and changed his storyline.
