    starting strength

What kind of warm up sets should I do for each lift before doing my working weight? Is it a must to do warm ups, or can I just go right into what I would usually lift for reps? Also how much weight should I add each week? 5 to bench and bent over rows/cleans, overhead press? And 10 to squats, deads?

read through the stickes again, but

if working weight is 285 do

    45x5
    95x5
    135x3
    185x2
    225x1
    275x1
    285x5x3

and 2.5-5 to bench, OHP, and cleans (not rows) 5-10 to squats and 10-15 to deads

Yep. If he's asking this sort of question, lord knows he is going to do so many other things wrong.

Read the book and learn and do it the right way instead of half-assing it.

Warmups are actually not covered well in the book. Here is a link to a warmup calculator that I use that works pretty well.....

Not doing warmups and going straight into your worksets is not recommended.

If you don't know the answer to these questions, you should read the book because there are more difficult issues you won't know either because you don't have the experience to answer the simple questions.
