Yea, I don't really know the definition, I may be wrong... but I consider myself excused as English is not my mother tongue
I consider it to be unplanned too, but not necessarily like raiding the fridge out of nowhere... maybe going to a party with lots of food and deciding to just let loose and eat until you're full. But dunno, maybe that's just cheating...

The last thing that comes to mine was eating an entire box of mint Oreos in one night, I bought it planning to jsut have 2-3 and then not eat any more, started off having a few more a little bit later then just said the hell with it and finished the box. I am the same way w/ icecream and that is why I usually never keep them in the house

this.
it you have anything less than that, i wouldnt call it a binge. A binge is not a cheat meal or a cheat day, it is absolute destruction.
I don't binge often, but when I do, I can guarantee that all surrounding food will be depleted...my stomach can handle an unlimited supply of food. Plus, 1-2 weeks back on normal diet will cut the majority of the effects of the binge, if not all...It all depends on 2 things:
1) Are you strong enough to go back on your diet?
2) And if you are, can you afford to lose 1-2 weeks?
If so, binge away.

^^ Good post
I binged yesterday. A 1200 cal burger with French fries with 2 chocolate Brownies+3 ice creme snickers+ 4 slices of bread overloaded with Nutella (around 200 gms of it)
Binging is definitely not a good thing but once you do it , what matters is that how you learn from it. Getting backtracked due to binging is detrimental to your progress and goals, something which is so damn obvious but you forget that when the amazing food touches your taste buds At very low bf%, your stomach becomes a bottomless pit and hunger gets insatiable once you lose that self control and say, "**** it, to hell with my diet for today."
If you're in the middle of achieving your goals and you binge I would say you need to improve your will power and learn some self control. But , if you are very near to achieving your goals, sometimes it's just not under your control. Hormones/mood swings are so fawkin messed up that a binge becomes inevitable. IMO, it is kinda forgivable during such phases provided it's like once in 2 months or very seldom and also, you're not preparing for a contest.

I used to binge on a cut about once a week, eat about 3-4k over maintenance, and since I was only eating at a 500 deficit to begin with, destroy a week's progress in 30 minutes.
My advice to bingers: try out IF.
I don't do it because I believe it has any anabolic benefits, but I noticed that whenever I binged, it was right after I ate a meal. I don't know if it was the salty food, or just tasting food, but i'd walk over to the fridge, fight off the urge to eat for a few minutes, and then give in.
The thing about IF is, yes, I'm hungry during the day, but no cravings, if that makes sense. I feel the actual gnawing of hunger, but I don't feel like I need to eat. The hunger only gets bad around workout time, and then I get to go home and have a hyooge binge sized meal anyways, and since my stomach has shrunk over a 24 hour fast, this 2300 cal meal is more satisfying than my old 4k binges.

Yea, I had a mini binge on Sunday(first In awhile). Was really stoned and just said F it. I was Too hungry and too stoned to care. Ate about 8 double stuff Oreos, 2 doughnuts, 1 large chocolate chip cookie, and french toast. Seriously weak binge, came in at about 5k that day. I'm in no means bragging, even though it wasn't a massive amount of food (like some past binges) I still consider it a binge. Needless to say, I still upped cals on Monday and kept going with my plan. Now that I've got my binging really under control it only seems to occur when I get extremely baked.

If you binge too often you should just start doing IF that way you can just eat two big meals a day, which almost feel like a binge, yet still meet your calorie and macros goal
My meals Today:
Mea1 1:
Buffalo Chicken Wrap on Wheat
Honey Nut Cheerios w/milk
Meal 2:
Turkey Artichoke and cheese panini
Sweet Potato fries
Protein Shake
Baked Ruffles Cheddar and Sour Cream
Stay lean and satisfied
also in college and I pulled this off

i've seen some weak binges in here.. but i've seen some good ones..
last binge
1 large stuffed crust meat lovers pizza (which is like eating 1.5 normal pizzas)
1 order of cinnamon sticks
all that was eaten on the ride home (7 mile drive)
1/4 of a gallon of freezer burned ice cream.. (would have eaten more had it not been all there was)
huge bowl of boiled peanuts
2 packs of famous daves choc chip cookies (280 cals/pack)
all this at about 163lbs..
the saddest part was i wasn't full and i wanted more but i convinced myself to stop eating.. wish i hadn'tLast edited by tumtum; 09-29-2011 at 03:37 PM.

Red lobster today!! Not binge status though. Fit my macros perfect. Lobster pizza, ultimate feast(w side salad n mashed potatoes) and strawberry cheesecake! I like how people are bragging about binges When I binge I don't Acually enjoy any of the food. It's like my stomach is a garbage pit that can handle anything in 5 seconds. Like stated ITT, binging is completely different than a cheat meal/day. Its out of control wackness.

I binged tonight too =/ I don't normally at all but I am getting sorta depressed and want to get this weight loss train rolling. I had 2 single cheese burgers from Mc Donaldds, medium fry, and a cinnamon roll melts. Also had some whole grain chips with nacho cheese....ugh I kinda feel ****ty now. It's my own fault.

Competed in my first bodybuilding competition last Saturday night... And have been bingeing like there's no tomorrow ever since!
Saturday night (after comp):
1 slice of pizza
Three protein balls
1 slice chocolate chip cookie dough raw slice
Pulled pork burger
Garlic bread
Crunchy McFlurry
Sunday:
Muesli with full-cream milk and strawberries
Semolina noodles with prawns
Garlic prawns and bread with butter
Mac and cheese
Waffles with two scoops ice cream
Whole tub of Ben and Jerrys
Slice of orange cake
Candied walnuts and biscotti
Chilli dog
Couple of Tim Tams
Now I had the biggest food baby of my life after Sunday. I actually got to the point where I wasn't enjoying the food but eating it anyway just because I could. But the plan was to get all my cravings out of the way in one day and go back to clean eating come Monday... That didn't happen
Was following my usual meal plan until I scoffed down four protein bars and a whole block of white chocolate
Now it's Tuesday... And I just made a batch of peanut butter banana blondies... And ate every little bit of it. ****. My. Life. Will this end????! My abs are still hanging in there but can't imagine they'll be there much longer if I keep this up!
