Damn! Nice turn out tonight in here.
Thanks, J!!
I kicked ass and took names! Well, at least it felt like that.
You're right on about that. I could barely hold myself up on the ab wheel and barely able to do pushups. It was freakin hard.
Gonna try it again next time.
Thanks, S-LAB!! (see what I did there? )
I appreciate the support!
Daaaaaaang! Sick trax brahs!
Cuz of you 2 I got back into this kinda stuff the last month or so.
I go to this website (grooveshark.com) and I put on the Trance station when I'm at work.

^ True.
More sex means living longer, says science. One doc claims it can add up to eight years to your life.
http://www.mensjournal.com/3-orgasms
Some good points:
- another study has shown that those having sex three times a week on average appear seven to 12 years younger than their actual ages
-Sex, even as little as once or twice a week, also increases immunoglobulin levels — the stuff in your blood that fights infection and disease — as much as 30 percent higher than in those who abstain.
-A Swedish study done in the ’80s found that 70-year-olds who made it to 75 were the ones still having sex, and a Duke University study that followed 252 people over 25 years concluded that “frequency of intercourse was a significant predictor of longevity.”

Hey Tom, I've seen you post in a few other logs that I'm currently following. Anyway, I like following people's progress and it looks like you've got a good log, so I will sub (If you don't mind, ofcourse)

July 15
Back & Biceps
I had somewhere to go yesterday night so I had to get through this session quickly.
Rushed home from work (speeding and everything) and went right into real work.
Pull Ups - Parallel grip
I only did 4 sets as per the reason listed above.
Reps as follows:
7
6
6
4
Goddamnit I'm bad at Pull ups! Next week I will hit 30 reps in 5 sets as promised last time, no matter what. (Will have a phone nearby with 911 on speed dial, just in case)
I'm hoping that after I drop a few pounds I get a few extra reps with these.
DB Rows
105x12x3
Will increase weight next week and that will be the heaviest I have ever gone with Rows.
BB Rows - (Yates style)
2nd time doing these. Need to work on form.
145x12
145x12
145x11
BB Curls
OK, so i was really feeling it by this point.
I decided that I should drop the weight in order to do these with really good form.
85x9 - it felt too heavy so I dropped the weight.
80x11
80x9
Form on the last 2 sets was bang on. Controlled and very focused.
Seated DB Curls
Same deal with these. Went with a lighter weight and maitained excellent form.
45x8
45x8
45x9
Decent session overall. I was sweating like crazy (which is rare for me) probably cuz I was going as quickly as possible.
I went to another festival with some family and I was wearing this fitted t-shirt. Since I still had a bit of a pump going on, needless to say there was lots of mirin going on. My sister-in-law was almost shocked when she got a good look at me. I'm sure she got all tingly in her special place.Last edited by viennafat; 07-16-2011 at 12:31 PM.

LOL@ tingle in special place.
Great session broseph. I know what you mean on the form on the BB rows. I can't seem to get a decent feel for them. I don't feel they are working all that much.

Reason #14 why planking is stupid:
I'm not positive she was trying to plank. Either way it was stupid.
I was supposed to train yesterday but due to having minor tweak in my back (no idea how it happened) and a crazy day, I decided to push it today.Architect, Marine Biologist, Importer-Exporter, Latex Manufacturing.

LOL at her trying to plank.
Have you seen these hilarious pictures of people planking in really weird places? Those are funny as hell.

Yeah I've seen some funny planking pics. Others are retarded.
I'm really taking care of the back. In the past I would've just trained anyway, but I said fack it. One extra day of rest will be beneficial.
Kutting Question
To any of you brahs that come in here:
I'm officially starting my cut now but I was wondering what's the best way to do this.
Should I ease into it by reducing cals little by little or immediately cut the cals that I plan on cutting and go for it?
Other question, instead of cutting X number of calories I wanted to start incorporating more cardio to create the deficit. I assume this is a good approach?
So instead of cutting 500 cals, I'll cut 300 and do enough cardio to burn 200. Something along those lines.Architect, Marine Biologist, Importer-Exporter, Latex Manufacturing.

Ease into it, bro. You can always subtract more if aren't making progress. But if you start out at a super high deficit and stall progress, you are stuck.

^^ 100% agree
I am always a fan of doing cardio > eating less. In addition, it's good to keep your heart healthy.

Thanks, guys.
I'll ease into it the first couple of weeks to see how it goes.
I was hoping to start some cardio this week but the weather is not co-operating.
It has been and will be 100+ degrees (40 celcius). On Thursday it's supposed to be 115!!!

This, always ease into it. Your metabolism will start to suffer as you dip into single digits, until then you should be able to comfortably cut at a 300-400 calorie deficit.
Some people like to only cut from maintenance levels a few days a week, and the others, you just do enough cardio to add in that ~300 calorie deficit. That way you don't feel like you are cutting.
And I heard about the crazy heat, my Mom in IL told me it was like 105 yesterday. FML.Real Men Eat Meat and Vegetables.

Yeah I'm far away from single digits so I should be good to go.
I'm gonna play around with it a bit and see what happens.
This is my first time doing so I'll try to keep it simple. If I do cardio I can eat a little closer to maintenance and if not then I'll eat less.
Dis heatwave....... NYC in a few days to feel like 117. 117!
Good thing that oven wasn't on.
Back is feeling pretty good actually. Thanks.
