I can't stand all these kids who are 18-23 making 10$ an hour who spend thousands "souping" up their car.
I have never once looked at a person driving a car and said "wow that guy is cool" or "that is sick I want to be like him"
Unless you have a top of the line car that less than 1% of people own you honestly look like a complete douche in 99% of societies eyes.
"Bro I just installed this new spoiler kit!!" - douche
"Brah i got double mufflers!!! for only $344" - douche
And worse is when thats all you do is talk about ur sh***y car all the time
srsly **** off its not 2000 anymore, nobody cares about Fast and the Furious/ Vin Diesel,,,,
just leave your ****ty Cobalt the way it is

well, look OP.
There are people who view cars as their own territory, which is a primitive instict, and like to take care and make it better for them. I read a study which said people who take care alot their car and also have bumper stickers are more likely to go on a road rage, because they view it as disrespect when you cut em off etc etc.
It makes them feel good, it makes them feel confident, i won't hate on them for that, to each to his own. Tolerance op_____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

modding your car can be considered a hobby, art, expression of creativity, etc - who are you to judge? people have different hobbies and desires. if they have the disposable income to do so, why do you care?
it's very easy to take a common car and make it one-off if you have the money, know-how and/or creative eye. yes, there will always be people that have terrible taste, but if they enjoy it, whatever.lilliiilliiliilliililliil

Nobody's doing it to impress you, *******. Some of us actually know our way around a suspension or motor, and enjoy the performance advantages. And since a lot of us spend at least an hour driving each day, we like our charriot to be comfortable and capable.Near, far, wherever you are...

Once more, you open the door.
And you're here in my heart.
And my heart will go on and on.

Young people don't have that many expenses, meaning they have the "extra" money to spend on their car, since their car is their main posession. A lot of people also spend a lot of time in their cars, why not make it nice for them?
I agree that there are some people who take it to far, people with the over the top exhausts or the ones who always have to remind you what kind of car they have etc etc.

i dont get how people can let their vehicles look like crap with rust spots and dirt all over the placeNo Excuses.

Agree.
A car is a machine that gets you from A to B, it isn't a fukkin fashion statement. My car had bumps on it, had a wingmirror snapped off and not a single fuk was given because the machine could still function.
I have a stupid bish on FB who only talks about her stupid ass car. "Just got a new set of rims looks awesome! Time to take the car out for a carwash then a wax."
These people are called superficial materialistic morons who have been brainwashed by pimp my ride and cribs.
The things you own end up owning you.

Another thing I'm guessing.
I bet op calls for a tow truck when he gets a flat when I could probably tear into my motor and repair anything that breaks.
Its a hobby, not a thing I do for other people. Yes, other people do like what I do to it, but I don't DO IT for them. I like my truck to look and ride nice. Added a few thing to it so the other enthueists can admir what I did to it and if they try and race me (yes truck race **** sticks) I can beat them at their own game.
My interior has a indash dvd/gps head unit, you mad that I can watch dvds when I'm on long road trip? Probably since you bitch about everything else.
Pls go op before planetgetlow gets in here too and pwns you.Leo/Military Supporter. Bustin my ass to save yours!!!!!!

Incorrect. Just like there is a forum for body building, there are forums for hobbiest that like to make their car perform and look better.
Just cause soem bitch on ******** says something about rims, you classify as everyone that has a nice vehicle as an attention whore huh?
I do things to my truck cause I like to. Again, its a hobby, its occupys my time and helps me gain knowlegde on vehicles. So if it breaks, I can fix it and make it better.
I'm sure ya'll hate when you drive past a car show and just say they do it for attention.Leo/Military Supporter. Bustin my ass to save yours!!!!!!
